”Sorry, I normally would have let you eat that little piece of meat so that I could get more body meat of level 2 from you but not today... I need you to die as Level 1 so that I could accomplish my mission” Matt mumbled as he jumped down from the tree right above the wolfs head stabbing his Kukri right on to the head of wolf.

”Aaaaooo!” cried the wolf in pain as he died and fell on the ground, poor chap couldn't even swallow the meat for which he took such a big risk of moving alone from the pack.

The moment Matt killed the wolf he knew that one of his mission was complete and half of the task assigned for Teleportation wasa complete.

Matt knew that after assigning the 6 survival points to his stats he would be strong enough to take on to take on a level 0 mutated beast without his Desert Eagle thought he still could only use sneak attacks to assassinate Level 1 animals like he was doing until now.

Seeing the notification appearing in front of his eyes Matt smiled and stood up from the dead body of the wolf.

Even though only a Level 1 wolf he was more precious than the Level 2 monkey as his teeths could be used as weapons and his fur is immensely useful for surviving in the the winter. Matt knows it because that's how he and his nieces survived many winters.

”Though I killed this one but his pack should be around somewhere, so we will have to move again we can't stay anywhere near here” Matt said as he stored the dead body of the wolf and walked back towards the place where everyone was waiting for him.

As Matt returned back to the resting place where everyone was sitting around he saw that most of them had started to relax and were ready to sleep, the only reason they were awake was due to the hunger they felt which Matt said he would satiate.

When everyone saw Matt returned, joy was evident on there face as he was the pillar of support they all leaned on and though they looked relax but in reality none of them truly let their guard down due to the close call they had with death.

”We can't stay here we have to move!” said Matt seriously.

EVeryone's face fell down when they saw how serious Matt was.

”Why!? What happened!?” asked Natasha.

”I will explain on the way” Matt said as he didn't wanted to take the risk of the wolves being able to track him by his scent.

Though he circled around the forest quite number of times to throw them of but he knew if he stayed here for long than the chances of getting caught were high. He didn't knew when the wolves will start looking for their pack member and he didn't wanted to wait and find out about it.

Since Matt had said it, no one was going to argue with him as they knew won't be behaving like this if there wasn't something serious. They picked themselves up and started to follow him.

Seeing that everyone was following him without arguing about his decision he decided to tell them what happened.

”While hunting for food, I encountered a wolf who had evolved like those monkey's” Matt started his explanation and the moment they heard about the evolved wolf they felt a chill down their spine, ”I killed it” Matt continued allowing the people to sigh in relief. He was intentionally pausing in between to see their reactions and wasn't surprised when he saw that other than Natasha who became serious after hearing the news the other were just terrified first than sighing in relief.

”Though, the problem starts from there!” Matt said.
