”As long as you become one of the spirit beast kings of the inner section of the cursed wilderness, I will accept you as my partner.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax kept the inheritance sword away while giving the task.

However, when he heard what he had to do, the primitive ape king heaved a sigh of relief.

'I can easily take care of that last ranked spirit beast king in the past and as long as I push myself a little, I can still defeat him now.'

The primitive ape king was eager to have a fight too because it's been years since he had an actual fight. So, he was excited for a fight in which he was confident in winning.

'I hope that wyvern didn't learn any bestial laws.'

Even though he said those words, the primitive ape king was very sure that it was impossible for the golden wyvern king to learn the bestial law.

It was not like the golden wyvern king didn't have a good comprehension power; instead, the primitive ape king knew that the golden wyvern king was trying his best to become the golden dragon king which was a fool's dream in his opinion.

So, he was still confident in defeating the golden wyvern king.

However, Ajax's next words made the primitive ape king freeze in his thoughts.

”By the way, the last spirit beast king, Gaimont, the golden wyvern king, is my contracted spirit beast. So, you have to fight anyone among the spirit beast kings of the inner section of the cursed wilderness except for him.”

”What? Gaimont became your contracted spirit beast?”

The primitive ape king asked with a shocked look on his face; however, when he remembered how mysterious Ajax was, he bitterly shook his head with disappointment.

”Yeah”

Ajax nodded his head and he was not surprised that the primitive ape king knew Gaimont because the ape king's cultivation was among the same level as that of Gaimont.
