Ajax cursed the demon kings for destroying the farmlands and making the dwarves rely on them for food.

After thinking for a few moments, Ajax doubted the damage done to the third artifact.

Since he is the protector, it is his responsibility to protect the grey dwarves. So, he wanted to know what they would eat in order to gather those food resources.

With the devourer eagle king's 'Portal creation' ability, Ajax could easily gather them. At least that's what he thought to himself.

Moreover, there is still one month before the grey dwarves need food and coincidentally the devourer eagle king could open a portal on the 29th day from today.

'If only I could travel back to the grey dwarf world from the purple stone world, then it would have cleared this problem.'

Currently, Ajax could use a ticket to go back to the Purple stone world; however, he could not back because he didn't have another grey dwarf world ticket to travel back.

So, he could only put his plans to go back to the Purple stone world on hold for a while and resolve the problems in his world.

Just as he was in his thoughts while waiting for the old advisor's reply to his question, he received a system notification that made him look expectant.

”Protector, we only eat spirit beast meat and all kinds of wine.”

Ajax was about to check the effect of his new title; however, he heard the old advisor answer his earlier question.

'Huh?'

Ajax frowned with the old advisor's reply and he was about to ask his doubt before he heard the old advisor reply, ”Protector, you must be wondering about the farmlands and the meat, right?”

”Yes”

Ajax nodded his head.

The thing is, the old dwarf said that the demon kings destroyed the farmlands from growing anything in them; however, in the next moment, the same dwarf said they would only eat meat.

So, he was confused a little.

”Other than refining weapons, a small portion of us tend to crops and another small portion rear the rank 1 and rank 2 spirit beasts. Those spirit beasts will eat the crops we grow and later, we eat them.”

The old advisor gave a simple reply making Ajax nod his head.

”What about humanoid spirit beasts?”

Ajax put a hold regarding his title and asked Tunmil.

Currently, there was a Storm werewolf world king world and the Obsidian naga world.

The beings living in the Obsidian naga world were mostly all humanoid serpents. So, Ajax wanted to know the preference of his grey dwarves.

”Only spirit beasts' meat, protector.”

The old dwarf replied without wasting any time.

”Okay. Don't worry about your food, I will take care of it; however, you still need to use the food in your inventories sparingly.”

Ajax promised them not to worry about the food and continued saying, ”For the next 30 days, you can take rest as I can see you are very tired.”

He decided to let them have rest for now because only when the grey dwarves are in their peak condition, they could create miraculous weapons.

Moreover, Ajax was sure that no matter what he says, once the grey dwarves take enough rest, they would naturally go back to their weapon refining.
