Ajax didn't want to experiment on the two humans directly because if he failed, it might cause death for them.

After choosing his target, Ajax walked towards the huge ape-like spirit beast.

Once the host can successfully look into the spirit beast's soul, the system will slowly absorb the Cursed Energy while the host has to use Sacred Astral Energy to heal the marks left by the Cursed Energy.
In two system notifications, the system explained everything that Ajax had to do.

Once he got to know what he had to do, Ajax replied to the huge ape-like before following the process.
Even though Ajax said that the corroded ape didn't say anything. Its lifeless eyes were looking into the distance which made Ajax shake his head with a bitter smile on his face.
Ajax nodded his head and took a deep breath before placing his hand on the spirit beast before thinking of looking into the spirit beast's soul.

All of a sudden, Ajax appeared in an endless space.

Ajax looked at his surroundings as his eyes fell on a small transparent silhouette in the distance.
'Ding,
This is the soul space of the spirit beast that the host touched earlier.
'Soul space? Isn't it only opened by King realm cultivators or beings? How can peak rank 6 spirit beast have it?'
Ajax was shocked by the system notification as he asked the system.
According to what he learned from Elder Boron and in his cultivation journey, only King realm beings would have it because only then their cultivator's law would be turned into a soul and the soul space would be unlocked.
So, of course, he was shocked when a peak rank 6 spirit beast opened a soul space.

The host is wrong about it. Every creature in this world or even in the smaller world will have a soul space; however, to get access to it, they have to create another soul from their cultivator's law.

Once the cultivator's soul enters into the soul space, it will be merged with the soul which is called the main soul and that has already existed in the Soul Space from the birth of the being.
'What? So, everyone has a soul space from the time they are born.'
Ajax was shocked for a moment before becoming excited and asked, 'So, I can enter others' soul space without any problem?'
