Ajax teleported himself continuously until he fell into the pool and without wasting any time, he drank the water from the pool.

The reason he didn't waste any time drinking the water was because he wanted the current trial to come to an end.

Soon, the old man appeared above the pool with a slight smile on his face.

Ajax was already furious regarding the trial and the old man for creating such a cruel trial and when he saw the smiling face of the old man hovering above the pool, he could not help but curse inside his heart.

”Congratulations for successfully completing the trial and becoming my successor. From now on you are the owner of the dimensional crevice.”

The old man already knew Ajax was furious and cursing him in his heart; however, he had to do what he had to do because he didn't want his successor to be killed.

Moreover, he was able to survive for thousands of years but his successor was less than 20 years old. So, he wanted to make sure that the young man in the pool had enough endurance, patience that was already tested in the previous trial and determination.

At the same time, Ajax's body started healing and his amputated legs started regrowing making Ajax heaved a sigh of relief.

”Hm.”

Ajax didn't show any excitement or thanked the old man; instead, he nodded his head with a cold look on his face.

Seeing that old man sighed as he knew he could not blame Ajax for replying like that.

”Before my spirit consciousness disappears, I will have some things to say to you. So, listen carefully because my spirit consciousness can't stay here for much longer.”

Nevertheless, the old man had to explain some things, so he didn't even wait for Ajax to reply as he started explaining.

”Dimensional crevice is always mysterious for everyone and only a few people know about what the dimension crevice can do and how useful can it become for a cultivator.”

”Most of the cultivators from normal worlds and even cultivators from some of the greater worlds use it to connect various provinces; however, it was just wasting the potential of the dimensional crevice.”

The old man stopped for a moment as he looked at Ajax to see whether he was absorbing everything he was saying.

Actually, Ajax already felt the dimensional crevices have other uses and he waited for the old man to continue saying what he wanted to say.
