Ajax said to the system as he decided to absorb the demonic energy into his body to temper it.

Host, there is something you need to know before absorbing the demonic energy into your body.

Just when he was about to absorb the demonic energy back into his body, Ajax received a system notification that made him frown before asking the system about it.

Soon, Ajax got two system notifications explaining about three energies; however, Ajax was adamant on not admitting the defeat. So, without thinking much he decided to continue doing what he wanted to do.

'As long as I temper my body with it, not only will I be able to fight again but my body will become stronger.'

Without wasting any time, Ajax directly sat cross-legged and started absorbing the energy into his body.

'Damn it. It is more painful than I expected.'

Ajax was expecting the sudden surge in the pain; however, he didn't expect the pain to be so fierce that made him stop what he was doing.

Nevertheless, with all the pain enduring tips he got from the old voice in his head, Ajax continued to absorb the demonic energy into his body for tempering.

Soon, the pain started increasing all over his body at an incredible speed which made Ajax groan continuously.

'Huh? What is he doing?'

'Is it my eyes or everyone can see that the demonic energy from our tribe leader Deon is decreasing on his body?'

'Yeah. Earlier, his body was entirely covered in dense demonic energy; however, the dark black colour of the demonic energy is becoming lighter and lighter.'

'It looks like our tribe leader is showing mercy on him and retracting the demonic energy.'

'But why does it look like he was having so much pain compared to before.'

All the demon fox tribesmen were observing Ajax and discussed among themselves while looking at their tribe leader.

'What is happening to my demonic energy? Is he absorbing into his body?'

'Isn't he worried that it would make him insane?'

However, the tribe leader Deon also looked at Ajax with a frown because he knew that absorbing the demonic energy into the body would do nothing good.

Even tribe leader Deon had to use a legend grade artifact just to store the demonic energy he collected over the past few decades from who knows where.

'I will retract the demonic energy as it would do nothing good for me or my tribe.'

With the thought in his mind, the tribe leader Deon chose to retract his demonic energy.

Without wasting any time, Deon extended his hand and in his hand, there was a small black-coloured gourd.

However, the demonic energy didn't leave Ajax as it was absorbed by Ajax at a rapid pace that made the tribe leader Deon frown.

'Why is it not coming back?'

Soon, the tribe leader Deon used even more force to pull the demonic energy on Ajax's body; however, there was no response from the demonic energy as though something was pulling it from the other side which was, of course, Ajax.

'Ajax, stop absorbing the demonic energy. You can't handle it.'

With a serious look on his face, the tribe leader Deon transmitted his voice into Ajax who was twitching on the ground while letting out painful grains occasionally.

'I...I c...can't.'

In the tribe leader Deon's head, Ajax replied as though he was enduring so much pain.

'Sigh'

Hearing that reply, the tribe leader Deon could not help but sigh and thought in his head, 'What should I do now?'

'I need to kill him before he goes crazy from absorbing the demonic energy.'

Actually, the tribe leader Deon's intention was just to help Ajax learn a lesson that he should not overestimate himself with such low cultivation.

However, who would have thought that things would turn out like this and in the end he had to kill Ajax before he could absorb the demonic energy completely.

Since there is no way the tribe leader Deon could save Ajax after absorbing the demonic energy, all he could do was to kill Ajax before Ajax could finish absorbing completely.
