It is the biggest contest in the Zrochester province where young genius cultivators will be invited to join it.

Even though many will be injured or killed every year. All the young genius cultivators who were invited by the royal family will join it.

As for the reason, it was for the rewards.

As long as one entered the top 10, they will be given a good reward which will either help them in their cultivation or assist them in the battles.

The protector Olek maintained the  same slight smile on his face as he looked at King Stephen draton and said, ”What is your royal family going to give him?”

Since the champions contest was originally conducted by the royal family, they should give the rewards to the top 10 participants.

”We will not dare to compare my royal family's rewards with the protector's rewards.”

Stephen draton stood up from his royal chair and continued saying, ”However, since the champions contest is the traditional event of my royal family, we will give the best items from my royal treasury.”

As soon as he finished his words, Stephen draton appeared on the stage.

”Alhan, this is for you.”

Without wasting any time, he took a black-coloured assassin god's statue out of thin air and gave it to Alhan, who is ranked tenth.

”Thank you, your majesty.”

When he saw the statue, Alhan was not surprised because it was not a secret for the assassin sect that the royal family has 3 statues in their possession.

So, he took it with an excited look on his face.

Even though he was ranked tenth, with this statue in his hands, he was satisfied. Also, there is another reward from the protector Olek that will be good.

”Brer….a combat technique crystal which was lost with the passage of time.”

”Arkor...a peak heaven grade 'Fire sword'.”

”Heave grade Enlightenment crystals are for Fearless gorilla, Dark flame, Silver goliath, Heavenly Raven, and King killer. Since you didn't want to fight one another, I am assuming you five members have the same level of battle prowess and I will give an enlightenment crystal to each of you.”

King Stephen continued to give rewards one after another; however, for the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators, he decided to give the same type of reward.

”Thank you, your majesty, for such a great item; however, giving 5 enlightenment crystals for us is a waste. Why don't you change two of our rewards to something else.”

Fearless gorilla, as his name suggests, was fearless and asked Stephen draton to change two of their rewards.

Enlightenment crystal, when it is used, will help the cultivators to understand the mysteries of their cultivation techniques, skill, weapon dao, and there is even a small chance of comprehending the laws of the world.

However, in his lifetime, a cultivator can only use these crystals three times. After that, there will be no use other than wasting such a valuable crystal.

Even though they were five cultivators, actually, not only these five but their other four brothers and sisters were all considered as a single entity.

So, for these nine cultivators, they only need three enlightenment crystals. That is the reason why Fearless Gorilla asked the King to change two of his rewards.
