After absorbing the Astral energy into his astral space for 24 hours, Ajax soul was stronger; however, his body needed some rest.

Even though he had many things to ask the system about astral energy, he went to sleep.

In the mist-filled cursed abyss, Edmond transmitted his voice to Udo and asked him to be careful.

'Haha...who are you asking to be careful? Did you forget that I have the skill to anticipate others' attacks beforehand? Not to mention, I am now an elite general realm cultivator,'

Udo replied to Edmond in the same voice transmission with a laugh.

However, he still followed Edmond's suggestion and increased his senses of his surroundings.

After a couple of moments, Udo sensed something and without waiting for Edmond, he directly took out his long axe from his back and hacked at something.

Udo's speed was so fast that the thing that was trying to sneak attack on Edmond was killed in an instant splashing black coloured blood.

”Edmond, this finish is much easier than I thought. Are you sure it is an 'A+' mission?”

After killing the being, Udo checked whether it was the thing they came for or not. And after confirming it, Udo revealed a dissatisfied look on his face as he asked Edmond about the mission.

It was his first mission after entering the elite general realm. So, he wanted some action; however, the mission was over just with a simple slash from his axe.

”Who cares. Let's take the body and submit it to the guild to get our reward. The reward will help us improve our cultivation. That was the only reason, I picked this mission,”

Edmond glanced at the body of the abyss devil and explained why he picked such a mission before asking Udo to pick the dead body.

Abyss devil belongs to the lowest type of devils among the all devils.

So, that mission was placed by one of the greater families, the Hammergust family and the reward was a drop of pure dragon blood essence.

A drop of pure dragon blood essence could be used to increase the cultivation of elite general realms; however, the most important use of it was, it would help the consumer gain a stronger body that could even stop the heaven grade weapons which were imbued with level 1 weapon dao.

As for Level 2 weapon dao imbued weapons, they could only slightly injure their bodies.

So, Edmond felt it was a good reward; however, what he didn't expect was the mission. It was too easy to be called an 'A+' danger rating.

Udo didn't ask who would use the drop of pure dragon blood essence; instead, he casually stored the abyss devil's body into his space ring.

”That drop of blood essence is too strong to consume directly. So, we need to find high-level water or portion to dilute it before we both can consume it,”

After Udo stored the abyss devil's body, Edmond explained to Udo while keeping an eye on the surroundings for any abyss devils to pop up.

”As you wish,”

Udo revealed a slight smile and didn't reject Edmond's words before saying, ”We are still in the outskirts of the abyss devil's territory. So, you can relax.”

'Swoosh'

All of a sudden, a silhouette rushed past Udo and aimed its sharp claws at Edmond.

”Edmond, watch out,”

Udo shouted out loud when he saw that and as he tried to alert Edmond; however it was too late for Edmond to dodge that attack.
