”Finally, you got a personal disciple,”

As soon as Snow storm picked her third rank 2 herb, all the vagrant cultivators congratulated Elder Ramon.

However, except for nodding his head, Elder Ramon didn't say anything to them because his eyes were glued to Ajax.

After picking three rank 3 herbs, Elder Ramon just hoped the trial time would be over because he was feeling some bad premonition when he looked at Ajax.

'I hope he didn't pick a rank 4 herb within the next few minutes,'

However, his luck was very bad that Ajax straightaway went to a rank 4 herb named 'Shadow rosemary' and casually picked it without fearing the green sprite.

Elder Ramon was shocked at that sight and looked at other vagrant cultivators for some explanation.

However, everyone was silent except for the guild master, who said, ”The green sprite guarding the rank 4 herb asked Ajax to pick three rank 3 herbs and then it would allow him to pick the rank 4 herb.”

'What? When did that happen?'

Elder Ramon was so shocked after hearing his words; however, he shook his head as silently, 'I should take him as my personal disciple at any cost.'

Soon, his previous sadness disappeared as he started thinking of how to attract Ajax to select him as his master.

”Finally, got the herb,”

As for Ajax, he was happy for getting a rank 4 directly consumable herb.

”Everyone, the trial ends here,”

Soon, Elder Ramon appeared in the herb garden and brought all the participants out of it along with him.

”Little girl, do you want to become my personal disciple?”

After bringing them out of the herb garden, Elder Ramon looked at Snow storm and asked her.

Snow storm looked at Ajax first and then looked at Elder Ramon before asking him, ”Elder Ramon, you are not selecting Ajax?”

She didn't agree to Elder Ramon directly, instead asked him a question.

”No”

Elder Ramon replied in a single word with a serious look on his face; however, inside his heart, he felt bitter as he was still not sure that Ajax would become his personal disciple.

”Why? Didn't he pick more herbs than me and he is more suitable to become a great alchemy master compared to me? So, why are you not picking him?”

The fact that Ajax picked more herbs could not be hidden from other participants. So, she asked Elder Ramon about it.

”About that, he has to wait some more time as other vagrant cultivators are interested in him,”

Elder Ramon didn't hide anything as he explained that reason for not picking Ajax.

”Oh...okay,”

Everyone knew that Ajax performed very well in every trial except for Seward's trial. So, he nodded her head.

”So, do you want to become my personal disciple?”

Elder Ramon once again asked her and Snow storm looked at her father for a moment before nodding her head.

”Good”

Elder Ramon nodded his head and after that, he looked at the guild master, ”So, do you want to conduct your trial?”

Since everyone except for the guild master conducted their trials, he asked the guild master.

'Guild master is going to conduct a trial?'

However, the guild master didn't give an answer as he was thinking about something.

'I wonder what it is?'

'I don't know about it; however, one thing is for sure and the trial would be very difficult,'

As soon as the young participants heard Elder Ramon's words, they were excited because the guild master was the leader of the vagrant cultivators and moreover, they had known him from their childhood.

”Elder Ramon, are you not going to give me any reward for beings performing good in your trial?”

While everyone was muttering to themselves about the trial, Ajax asked Elder Ramon about his reward.
