Chapter 647: Neils stubborness (1/2)

”There are still eight more hours. So, I might as well try it,”

Neil's words were simple as he stopped transferring the essence of nature into the map and sat crossed-legged before absorbing the essence of nature into his spirit consciousness.

'Interesting'

Not only the guild master, but everyone nodded their heads at Neil and allowed him to do what he wanted to do.

'As long as he fills the map, I might make an exception and pass him to round 2,'

Ramon silently said to the other vagrant cultivators about Neil.

'We are going to conduct the trials in your place. So, we will let you do as you wish,'

No one said 'no' to Ramon and agreed to let him do what he wanted to do.

...…

In the outer section of the cursed wilderness,

”Found it,”

Finally, after searching for some time, Ajax found something unusual somewhere near the barrier.

'It seems like a rune,'

Ajax carefully observed it as he thought in his head.

The rune on the ground had a circle in the centre with various arrows pointing at it and there were some other symbols surrounding the circle.

Overall, Ajax could say that someone must have drawn it recently and he concluded that it was one of the vagrant cultivators.

'Should I just pour my essence of nature into it to open the barrier?'

Ajax felt that 'round 1' would not be that hard and it would be simple; however, if they could not think properly, they would fail for something easy.

Moreover, thinking about the process of getting drawings on the map, Ajax felt he should try it.

'Swoosh'

Soon, he placed his hand on the circle of the rune drawing on the ground and sent the essence of nature into it.

'I hope, I am right,'

Ajax looked at the barrier while he transferred the essence of nature into the rune; however, there was no change in the barrier.

'Am I wrong?'

Ajax felt what he was doing was not the correct method to open the barrier.

'Kacha'

Just when he was about to stop pouring the essence of nature into the rune, he heard a crisp sound and at the same time cracks started appearing on it.

'Phew...I was not wrong,'

Ajax heaved a sigh of relief as he saw the barrier was getting cracks all over it.

'Shatter'

All of a sudden, it shattered and Ajax stopped pouring his essence of nature into the rune and walked to the position which was marked as 'X' on the ground.

It was the location that was marked as a red dot on his map.

'Finally, I reached my destination. How should I tell him that I have completed round 1?'

Ajax thought inside his head as he looked at his surroundings.

'Swoosh'

While he was thinking in his head, he suddenly disappeared from the position.

Along with him, the 'X' symbol on the ground also disappeared and if someone sees that place, they would not find anything there.

.....

While Ajax disappeared after reaching the destination, the other participants in the event reached their own destinations in various parts of the inner section of the cursed wilderness.
