”What?”
The old man in the fire sword sect's robes raised his brows as his facial expression became serious when he heard the words of the young man with half burned face.
”You heard me, right, grandpa,”
There was no change in the young man's expression as he asked the old man.
”That...he is..,”
”Why do you want to know about your father? Didn't I already say he is an insane person who killed your mother and at the same time he tried to kill you; however, I saved you from him,”
Before the old man could finish his words, a middle-aged man appeared in the secret chamber and scoffed at them.
”Sect leader Ketrok,”
”Ketrok”
Daniel and the old man greeted the middle-aged man because he was none other than the sect leader of the fire sword sect, Ketrok.
”Now say, what is bothering you?”
The sect leader Ketrok nodded his head and asked the young man about his doubts.
”You are all saying that my father killed my mother but can you tell me why he did that? Moreover, how can someone kill the person he loved and decided to even leave his own family for her sake?”
The young man didn't show any fear while asking the questions as he continued to ask, ”If you don't want to answer me, I will go and ask him these questions for myself.”

The old man, who was the grandfather of Daniel was speechless at the young man's word as he looked at the sect leader Ketrok fearing that he might kill Daniel.
”Haha”
All of a sudden, the sect leader Ketrok started laughing at Daniel's words before saying, ”So, you figured it out?”
Soon, his expression changed into anger as he shouted at the young man.
”So, it was you that killed my mother,”
The young man showed no expression on his face as he nodded his head.
Daniel, the young man woke up in the secret chamber three years ago with his memories completely lost.
However, he was explained something about his past by his self-proclaimed grandfather whether he was his true grandfather or not, he still didn't know.
According to his grandfather, his own father killed his mother and later tried to kill him; however, he was saved by the sect leader of the fire sword sect and he owes his life to the sect leader.
He was under continuous stress to cultivate by others and he didn't have any time to think much; however, as days passed, he started thinking about the story that the old man had said to him and found many things missing.
So, finally, after the break through to the general realm, he asked the old man. Surprisingly, the sect leader Ketrok had come the moment he asked those questions to the old man. So, Daniel directly asked the sect leader.
”Yes, I killed her. What are you going to do about it?”
The sect leader Ketrok no longer bothered to hide that fact as he revealed a cruel smile on his face.
”What can I do? I will do nothing; however, my father will not? You yourself said that my father is an insane person. Since you killed his wife; I wonder what he is going to do to you and your fire sword sect?”
Finally, Daniel revealed a smile as he scoffed at the sect leader Ketrok.
”Do you think I will not kill you for the words you just uttered?”
The sect leader Ketrok summoned a longsword and pointing at Daniel's neck, he asked him.
