While Ajax and Edmond were shocked at Paulin's answer, Udo felt bored with their conversation and rested his back on the ground.

Udo was not a summoner much less an official one. So, he felt their talk was useless to him and relaxed without paying any attention to them.

As for Darbaurdr, he heard their words; however, his focus was mainly on their surroundings.

”Yes...it took me one hour to form an unofficial contract with Glacious,”

Seeing their shocked looks, Paulin once again gave his answer.

With Paulin's words, both Edmond and Ajax came out of their shock and Edmond immediately turned his head towards Ajax and asked, ”Why are you shocked? Did you take more time or less time?”

That's right!

Even though both Ajax and Edmond were shocked by Paulin's words. Their reasons for being shocked were different.

Ajax was shocked because when he formed a contract with an elemental spirit whether it was an official one or an unofficial one, it took only a couple of minutes.

As for Edmond, according to what he knew regarding the contract time for an unofficial elemental spirit was minimum of two hours and maximum of three hours.

Nevertheless, Edmond was curious about Ajax's contract time. So, he asked for the unofficial contract time when he formed a contract with Slait.

”It was 30 minutes, I guess,”

Ajax didn't want to give a heart attack to Edmond and Paulin. So, he said 30 minutes.

”Oh”

Edmond revealed a smile when he heard Ajax's answer.

Paulin looked at Ajax with a surprised look on his face.

”Captain Edmond. Now it is your turn to explain the tip you gave,”

Ajax just wanted to divert their attention from his contract time to something else. So, he asked Edmond to explain the tip.

”Right. Generally, when you form a contract with an elemental spirit, it's better to form an unofficial contract with the elemental spirits until a summon reach the elite general realm because compared to the official spirits, the unofficial elemental spirits will take less time,” Edmond stopped his explanation as he waited for some question from the other end.

”Now that I think of it, when I form an official contract with Azurius and Aqualis, it took me more than 5 hours; however, since I formed a contract with them at the same time, I didn't think much about it,” Paulin nodded his head as he thought back to the time taken for forming an official contract with his latest elemental spirits.

”I was about to talk regarding that,” Edmond looked at Ajax, who didn't have any question to ask him before saying, ”Since both of them are twins and share a spirit connection with one another, it took almost the same time as that of a regular official contract.”

”Let me give you even more detail regarding that,” Edmond looked at Paulin's face which still looked a little puzzled and continued, ”For an official contract with an elemental spirit, it will take 5-6 hours whereas, for an unofficial contract, it will only take 2-3 hours. Since you will be having only 10 hours of time whenever you enter the elemental spirit world, it's best to form more unofficial contracts with the elemental spirit. In that way, you will have more elemental spirits under you with various skills.”

”So, once we reach the elite general realm, we just have to form two official contracts with the two elemental spirits,” Ajax nodded his head as he understood what Edmond was trying to say.

Since they were still weaker, Captain Edmond suggests that having more elemental spirits would help a summoner in many situations.

”I might enter the elemental spirit world in the next couple of days. I will definitely follow your advice, Captain Edmond,”

Paulin had already reached the general realm with the help of his elemental spirits. So, he could enter the elemental spirit within a couple of days.
