Ajax was on the back of a large purple coloured dragon as he just entered the middle section of the cursed wilderness from the cursed abyss.

From the location of the dimensional crevice in the cursed abyss, the shortest distance was to fly over the middle section of the cursed abyss. So, Ajax ordered the destructive twilight dragon to fly over it.

'Twilight, I think we got some company,'

For some reason, Ajax felt that he was being followed by someone; however, when he turned back to look, that feeling vanished into thin air.

Nevertheless, he was pretty much sure that someone was following him and slowly transmitted his voice to the dragon.

'Roar'

When he heard Ajax's words, the dragon roared in response as though it had also sensed someone behind them.

'Swoosh'

”Twilight, fly downwards,”

All of a sudden, Ajax felt something was coming at him and hurriedly ordered the dragon to fly downwards because if he continued to fly in the sky, then he was an open target for someone who was following him for a while now.

Even though his dragon was fast, he was unable to dodge something that was thrown at them.

'Boom'

Only when it came near, Ajax was able to see what it was; however, it was very late to escape as an explosion happened when that thing touched the left wind of the dragon.

'Swoosh'

'Thud'

With the blast, the dragon lost its balance and fastly descended towards the ground and with a loud 'Thud' sound it fell onto the ground.

'Damn it,'

Soon, Ajax stood up from the ground and looked at the injured dragon beside him and cursed the one that sneaked on them.

'Thank god, you are not injured seriously,'

The first thing he did was to check on the dragon and only after that, he heaved a sigh of relief.

”Go back into the inner world for now and heal your injuries. I will take revenge on your behalf,” Ajax patted the huge head of the dragon and sent it into the inner world.

'Spirus, heal Twilight's injuries,'

'Volcanis, Bane and Cerauno, come out now,'

After sending twilight back into the inner world, he didn't waste any time before giving orders to his elemental spirits.

First, he ordered Spirus to heal the twilight's injuries because she was capable of healing them.

Next, he summoned three of his elemental spirits because they were the most powerful elemental spirits in his arsenal.

”Greetings, summoning master,”

As soon as they were summoned out of the inner world, all three elemental spirits greeted Ajax.

”Be ready. We are under attack,”

Ajax nodded his head at their greetings and asked them to be on their guard.

”Yes, summoning master,”

When he saw their actions, Ajax bitterly shook his head and at the same time, he felt warm inside his heart.
