Because of that single reason he had joined the military and with his merits in the military, he quickly grew in ranks and finally gained the Commander that only takes orders from the King himself.

However, after listening to the old man's words, Commander Reid felt scorn towards the royal family.

If he didn't have a family, Commander Reid would not be still kneeling in front of the King; instead, he would have left from the royal palace once and would have thought about something to take the royal family down.

”I already sent them before I came here, your majesty,”

While answering to the King, the earlier respect in his voice was no longer present in commander Reid's words.

As soon as the commander Reid left the meeting chambers, King Stephen Draton clapped his hands two times and a masked man, who was completely in black attire appeared out of nowhere.

”Your majesty. What should I do now?” As soon as he appeared, he kneeled on a single leg and asked the King with a respectful tone.

”Keep an eye on him and ask your subordinates to keep an eye on his family. As long as you feel that he is revealing anything that he heard here today, then you know what to do, right?” Stephen Draton calmly ordered the masked man.

”You can relax now, your majesty. I will take care of him,” The masked man gave his word and disappeared into the shadows.

”With the Royal family shadows keeping an eye on you, let's see what you can do now...Haha,” Stephen Draton laughed and stood up from his throne and walked into the distance.

Because only Commander Reid had access to the secret spies in the various sects and families and if he killed him, the royal family could not get any information about those sects and families.
