488 Next target:- Second batch of the demon army (1/2)
The more demons a mercenary kills, the more and better rewards that mercenary would get.
'I hope the fight will end up in the favour of humans,' After every mercenary left from the mercenary guild, Sarah silently thought in her head.

In the cursed wilderness,
An old man, who was in his simple robes rushed towards the exit of the cursed wilderness.
”Edmond? Blood rose?”
As he was running, he noticed a group of people in front of him and he instantly recognized them.
The old man was none other than the guild master of the mercenary guild. After the demon king Garreth left, he searched for the dimensional crevice for a while and didn't find the entrance.
So, he didn't waste any more time and hurriedly rushed towards the demon army.
However, he met Edmond and others.
”Guild master?”
Edmond and his group also stopped running when they saw the old man and except for Darbaudr everyone instantly became excited.
In that group, there were only four members. They were Edmond, Udo, Blood rose and Darbaudr.
”Why are you leaving the demon army and rushing towards the exit of the cursed wilderness?” That old man raised his brows as he asked them.
The reason he asked them was that behind then there was a huge demon army but they were running away from that army which made the guild master displeased.
Nevertheless, he didn't come to a conclusion and asked them.
”There is a first batch of the demon army that must have already reached the exit of the cursed wilderness,” Edmond embarrassedly explained everything from beginning to end.
”Hmm”
The guild master nodded his head before saying, ”Since Rulf and Ajax are already fighting the first batch of the demon army, let them fight. We will stop the second batch of the demon.”
”But guild master, they need…..,”
”Let the first batch go to them. Anyway, other mercenaries will help them if they dragged the fight for enough time,”
Before Edmond could say anything, he was interrupted by the guild master.
After hearing that Edmond didn't say anything and nodded his head in agreement with his words.
”Let's kill these bastards,” The old guild master let out a chuckle and said with an excited voice.
”Yes, guild master,” Edmond, Udo and Blood rose shouted and went into the fight with the demons.
Finally, the guild master and Darbaudr were the only ones that were left behind, before the old man asked, ”Are you part of Edmond's mission?”
”Huh?” Hearing the old man's words, Darbaudr didn't understand anything.
”If my young master asks me to do it, I will help him; otherwise, forget it,” Darbaudr maintained some respect in his voice as he sensed some great power within the old man in front of him.
'His peak level strength must be higher than my peak strength. Does that mean, he is a king realm cultivator?' Darbaudr's thoughts wandered about the old man's strength.
Darbaudr's peak strength was peak elite general realm and only an inch away from king realm. So, he thought that the guild master was a king realm cultivator.
