The first elder felt even angrier when he thought back to how he always took the side of the third elder and even opposed the second elder.
However, recently he found out that the same third elder was completing some missions from the headquarters and enjoying the rewards for himself without informing him.
He felt jealousy, hatred, and all other negative emotions towards the third elder.
”Master, there is something I wanted to inform,” a disciple in the discipline hall uniform came forward and said with sweat behind his back.
”What is it?” the first elder asked impatiently.
”Just now, some of our patrolling disciples saw the third elder's eldest personal disciple along with some strong mission hall disciples running out of the sect,” the disciple said quickly fearing that his master would kill him if he wasted any time.
”Huh? Looks like it about that mission,” the first elder's anger calmed down a little and asked, ”Where is that boy I asked you to keep an eye.”
”One of our disciples who was following them sent the information that the boy entered the Cursed wilderness on a mission along with another member from the squad,” The disciple informed quickly.
'What is that Edmond guy thinking, sending his squad's young ones on a mission at a time like this?' he thought to himself.
Just like the Captains of the top mercenary squads, the first elder was also puzzled at Edmond's way of doing things.
'Whatever, let me get this boy's head first then I will show that bloody third elder what it means to hide important things from me,' The first elder smiled cruelly as he looked at his disciples and ordered, ”Kill that boy and bring me his head. If the disciples from the other halls comes in your ways then clear them out without any hesitation.”
Although the missions that the third elder did in the past could be shared with the other elders from the assassin sect, however, he didn't share any details and maintained secrecy as he wanted to get the full rewards for himself.
Due to him, maintaining the secrecy of the missions, the headquarters gave him more missions to do.
After hearing his orders, all the disciples who were in the hall disappeared.

Ajax and Paulin, who were flying towards the middle section of the Cured Wilderness, didn't know that there was a hunt started for them by all the 12 halls of the assassin sect.

After flying for more than 6 hours on the spirit crane, Ajax asked Paulin, pointing his finger towards and ancient-looking cave.
However, with their current strengths, it was not a problem for them to take care of the spirit beasts from the outer section of the Cursed Wilderness.
”Huh? Looks like it. According to the location and the details mentioned in the mission matches with that cave surroundings exactly,” Paulin looked at the surroundings of the ancient-looking cave and nodded his head.
The area around the ancient-looking cave did not have a shed of grass growing in its surroundings.
No spirit beasts or spirit birds were present, making it look like a deserted area.
