”I will”, Ajax smiled as he replied the system.
The dragonling also opened its mouth releasing his finger and looked at him innocently.
”Are you hungry, here take this”, As he said, he threw a meat jerky that he prepared before entering the inheritance ground to it, but it just sniffed it and didn't even bother looking at it again.
”Huh, aren't you being picky here”, He stared at it and motioned is hand to eat the meat.
In reply, it looked at its surroundings and its gaze fell on the eggshells from which it hatched.
It soon ran stumbling towards the eggshells and chewed on them before swallowing them entirely.
”What the heck!!”, seeing it eating the eggshells he muttered, ”is that even edible??”
After finishing its eating, its size increased a little making him look at its level.

”.Eating a few eggshells made its rank jump from low-level rank 1 to mid-level rank 1”, Ajax got one shock after another.
It looked at ajax before climbing a higher step and closed its eyes.
”Is it cultivating with the unusual energy coming from the step?”, as he thought he moved to the next step which has less pressure he felt on the 500th step.
”I guess, this is probably done by the little one”, thinking that he looked at it with awe.
It soon opened its eyes and before looking at Ajax it proceeded to the next step.
”Hahaha”, With a laugh, he followed it.

At the 999th step
A visibly tired-looking Ajax and a small dragon which has reached one-meter in height and a body full of small horns closed its eyes as some unusual energy entered into its body.
”Is it going to break through to rank 2??”, as Ajax followed it all the way from the 500th step to until now, on every step the baby dragon closed its eyes for some time and moved to next step removing a huge pressure on him.
At around 650th step, it broke through to late rank, and at around 800th step, it reached peak rank 1, just an inch away to break through to rank 2.
”It's all thanks to you, little one, otherwise I would have suffered a lot”, Ajax said to himself as he looked at it.
Finally, it set its foot on the final step as it broke through to rank 2 immediately with the energy coming from the Last step.
”Sigh...., it took me a whole day to reach this floating island”, Ajax heaved a huge sigh of relief when he stepped on the last step.
”CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE PARTICIPANT TO COMPLETE PHASE 2 OF THE TRIAL SUCCESSFULLY, PLEASE COLLECT YOUR REWARD ”,
As soon as he set his foot on the last step he heard a loud voice informing about the completion of Phase 2 of the trial.
