The next morning,

Athena opened her eyes slowly. She saw that Aslan already getting ready with the tie and suit.

”Mmm..going to your office today?” She asks while rubbing her eyes a bit.

Went over to her, he kisses her cheek. ”Yup. I got an important meeting today. The board of director also request a meeting regarding the stock and other issues too so I might go home a bit late. Are you okay about staying at home? Or do you want to follow me to the office today?” He tilts his head.

She also does the same, tilting her head looking at him. ”Ermm...I think I'll stay at home. I worried that Jye Yin might have bad morning sickness.”

”Why you so caring about her pregnancy?” Aslan scrunches his eyebrow.

”Hmm..she carry your baby As...Of course, I want to make sure your child is in a good condition.” She said casually making Aslan scrunch even more.

”Athena, it's not my baby. I'm not the one who makes her pregnant.” He cupped Athena's face and stare at her.

Noticing that she just slip out her word, she lowered her gaze.

”I'm sorry. But, As..you're not barren like me. How could you said something so confident that it's not yours..sooner or later, you'll have your own kids too. Maybe not with me..”

Before she could finish her words, Aslan sealed her lips with his kiss.

”Don't say something that'll hurt my heart, Athena. I don't care even if I don't have any kid with you. I will not marry anyone else. Not in this life.” he ȧssured her for countless time.

'But, you'll be lonely when I'm gone. You'll be alone until you die. I don't want that to happen to you. I don't want something like that for the one that I loved with all my heart.'

Kissing her forehead, he said again. ”If you want to come with me, get dressed now.”

Athena brush off of her thought and tug his hand on his shirt. She shakes her head. ”I'll stay at home. You be careful on the road. Call me when you had free time. Okay?”

”Okay, sweetheart.”

Athena blinks her eyes a few times. 'Hm? Did I hear it wrong? He called me sweetheart isn't he?'

”I'll be heading downstairs first. Hurry up and take a shower. Don't lure me for too long. I'm afraid that I might not be able to restrain myself anymore.” He chuckles and went over to the stand-mirror at the corner of the room.

Athena blushed and she immediately grabs her robe and went to the bathroom. While Aslan already smiling seeing she run to the bathroom while adjusting his tie.

'Yeah. I really love you, Athena. I couldn't even imagine how my life will turn out to be if you're not around me. I never know that I could love someone like this. You're the only one.'
