Chapter 43 - Lady of the House (2/2)

She only said a few words, and Little Amber listened to her without making a fuss.

”Eat more okay? You seem to lose some weight after being hospitalized. I will be sad if you get sick again.”

Little Amber slowed down eating to stare back at her mommy. She blinked twice before nodding once again. She then started eating with a serious expression on her face. She even ate the vegetables that she hated the most.

She obediently ate everything that was placed on her plate until it was clean.

The other elders within the room stood in shock as they watch Little Amber ate heartily. How could this be possible?! Did their Master Hero marry Miss Luna because of Little Amber? Even professional doctors couldn't cure their little miss's bad habits.

Madam Lin regained her senses and smiled. Finally, someone was able to tame their young miss! She hoped that there wouldn't be another round of tantrum anytime soon. She cringed at the memory of the ruined living space the last time Little Amber threw a tantrum.

There was a lot of yelling and crying, with broken furniture and expensive vases crashed on the floor. Ah, thinking about it was really a disaster.

Now that Miss Luna was here, Madam Lin hoped that she would be able to help Little Amber.

Finishing their meals, Luna fed her dog and gave him a bowl of fresh water to drink. She then volunteered to help Little Amber take a bath and tuck her to bed while Madam Lin cleaned the dining room and the kitchen.

Adam was kind enough to lead Luna towards Little Amber's room. She wasn't surprised to see the walls painted with light pink and a four-poster bed complete with drapes and a canopy placed at the center of the room.

Should she resign from work? Would her husband allow her to her work?

These past few weeks had been a lot of ups and downs in her life. One moment, she was happy being Jasper's girlfriend; the next moment, she was now President Li's wife. She knew that it wasn't the end of it. She still had to find out what really happened to her brother's accident. She had this nagging feeling that it wasn't just a coincidence.

Realizing that the girl had finally fallen asleep, she slipped out from the bed and closed the door silently, hoping that she wouldn't wake up the child in her slumber.

Luna released a sigh she didn't know she was holding. It was only then it came to her that she didn't know where to sleep!

Being the new lady of the house, did that mean she shared a room with her husband?
