Chapter 6 - Luna Escaped (2/2)

His taller height dwarfed her. She could sense the irritation in his demeanor and wished she never offended him.

The hotel staff that accompanied Aiko and Jasper cleared his throat and tried not to stutter to explain.

”Mr. Li, we're sorry for disturbing you.”

Jasper, who was silently staring at the man who only got a robe to cover himself, tilted his head in one side. He was sure he'd seen this man before.

”This Miss here is looking for her friend, Miss Jiang ...”

”And you all think you will see her here?” Hero cut him off. ”Pathetic.”

His words were enough to make Aiko embarrassed. This wasn't what she'd expected to happen. She shouldn't be the one getting humiliated here. Where was Luna? She was supposed to be here?

Aiko Chen and Jasper Mo might come from wealthy families, but even Jasper had little opportunities to meet the president of Li Group of Companies since he had yet to prove himself capable of joining their family's business. Therefore, they had no idea they were talking to Hero Li himself.

Hero looked gloomy as he looked down at the woman who dared to humiliate Luna. Women could be dangerous and poisonous. A man who couldn't differentiate a good woman from a bad one could easily be manipulated. And at this moment, he wasn't happy with this conniving bitch.

The hotel staff trembled at Hero's words. The moment the door opened, he knew he was in big trouble. Curse this woman for forcing him to offend one of their VIP patrons. One of his subordinates came running to him and whispered something to his ears, which instantly wiped the color off of his face.

”Miss Chen … Miss Jiang was seen taking a cab last night. She was ȧssisted by one of our valets.”

”What?!” Aiko exclaimed. Luna was able to see through her plans and escaped?
