Chapter 4 - Meeting people and more preps! (1/1)

As Alex entered his estate the next morning he took a quick shower and changed into his new outfit to meet with the Harrison's, they should be arriving in a few minutes and almost right at 10 A.m. they pulled up to the gate.

Andreas POV

”Are you sure this is the right place amy? The houses here are super expensive.”

”Of course I'm sure! You do realize the guy is like super rich right?”

”Ugh not exactly, grandad didn't tell me much, just that I was to go with you for some reason? If I am escorting you to your new boyfriends I swear I will smack you!” She said it calmly but you could tell by her eyes, she was serious as baby shit. As Amy cringed internally she was thinking of the best way to word her next words to receive the least amount of pain. ”Umm well no not my boyfriend! And granddad has a real reason for us to meet him and maybeeee he could be a potential boyfriend material, possibly??!” She said quickly then looked away from her sister, not wanting to see the pain that will likely be promised on her face. ”Ok sis, just checking!” Andrea said cheerfully, and ami just knew she was fuċkėd, in the worst way without any of the joys.

As Andrea drive up to the gate she was surprised at how high the fence was and how sturdy the front gate looked, and as she was about to click the buŧŧon to call the house, the gate opens.

Alex's POV

Alex seen the truck pull up to his fence through the security camera on his desktop monitor in his office, in the house so he opened the gate for them he was surprised though, instead of the old man it was two young blonde girls, one was obviously amy the other looked similar to how Andrea looked in the television series. As they drove up he went to the front door where they were driving up to, to greet them.

Andrea and Amy both got out of the truck as Alex was walking out of the house, Andrea was quite surprised at how he looked, she expected some older guy, not someone close to their age and quite handsome. Amy who knew he was good looking was even more surprised neither of them were exactly dressed up at the gun show, he looked far better cleaned up and not sweaty from moving stuff around all day! Alex was also surprised because from the television series they both were obviously pretty but in this world they look a bit different and are quite stunning to look at. Maybe it was the malnutrition for months or maybe they are wearing massive amounts of makeup but either way, they were both keepers. As they all three inspected each other they broke out of their daze at almost the same time, Amy moving forward giving a light and quick hug and Andrea and Alex just shaking hands, but it was almost obvious to her sister that she wanted the same as she got, but Alex doesn't exactly seem that bold when it comes to women.

Alex escorted both of them inside making small talk and trying to get comfortable with each other and after a few minutes Alex decided to lead them to the point of their visit. ”So what was it your grandfather wanted to know exactly” alex said with a hint of a smile trying not to laugh at their surprise at his abrupt change of subjects. Amy had to answer for them because Andrea had no clue why they were here, but didn't care too much because she found a new reason to be there. ”Well we don't exactly know, grandpa thinks something bad is going to happen soon and thinks you might know something or at least suspect something?” She said with a confused frown. ”Ahh I might know something but why should I spread panic and also I have no real proof except myself, really, I don't know if anyone would believe it, or want to believe it, so me and my brother have been preparing for the last few weeks, gathering friends and their families and so on.” Andrea heard that and frowned, then got curious so asked ”what is so horrible that has you so concerned? It can't be that bad can it?” Amy looked at her and wanted to giggle but didn't ”it's bad enough that grandpa said he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at the gun show” she said trying to keep a strait face but couldn't, and finally let a little laugh escape her lips. Alex just grinned a bit ”yah it's that bad. Hmm.. me and my brother have a code we use when something bad is going to happen and we should make some quick preparations, it's NOTLD, do you know what that stands for? He asked them curious if they would guess. They both looked a little confused but after. Minute of thinking on it amy got it ”night of the living dead? That sounds ominous..?” Andrea paled at what that hint could mean then composed herself thinking that to be impossible as most people would. ”Yah that's the one, that was some quick thinking amy!” Alex said with a smirk in his face. Amy's face flushed a bit but smiled slightly, then also frowned at that little hint. ” what do you mean only yourself as proof Alex?” Alex had already thought of some bullshit story to tell people for how he got his healing power and decided to stick with it. ”Well I had a dream about a month ago, and in it the world ended by October 31st.” He said with as strait a face as he could muster, almost cracking at their expressions of disbelief.

”Alex if you didn't want to say, you could have just said so” Andrea said with no small amount of annoyance while amy pouted a bit.

As Andrea came closer and closer Alex steeled his nerves, he wasn't a fan of pain but it's only a little cut unless Andrea is feeling a little vindictive m, then it will be a large cut, he thought to himself with not a little annoyance. Andrea raised the knife to Alex's outstretched Hans and slowly poked his right pointer finger and slashed it a bit, causing it to bleed, several drops falling after only a few seconds. Alex put his other hand over his cut finger and they watched in ralt attention as the cut started to quickly seal before both of their eyes.

They were both shocked to say the least, it's not something you see every day, somebody with healing powers, and apparently has an horror story that's about to come true, they both looked at each other, each looking just as pale as the other now and went back to sit down to think, both muttering obscenities to no one in general.
