Chapter 17 - Surrounded, First Elder [4] (1/2)
[Author Note: I know that some of you don't like the fact that I changed the timeline so I added on the synopsis that it is an alternative universe, also, after this war, things will calm down and he'll interact more, these first 1-20 chapters were to introduce the warring states, well, well, that's it!]
''Well, let's go, we need to go to the next location set on the map to help our comrades!'' The older Uzumaki Clan kid said as he took out a map from his ninja bag, looking at it, the place is around 50 meters from our current location.
”Hn” I nodded as we run towards our comrades location silently, we didn't talked too much, I also deemed somewhat desnecessary, we must stay silent and always observe the surrounding area to know if it is safe or if it isn't.
Ten meters away from our comrades location, we all heard sound of metal colliding as different people shouted ”Die!'' or similar words, in a bush, the four of us observed the people fighting and noticing who was enemy and who wasn't, I shot five kunais to the sky and opened a small space opening before making another one for the kunai to go towards the enemies.
There's around 50 people here and half is from the enemy side while half is from the ally side, two of the five people I shot died, two sensed the kunai and managed to avoid while another one managed to jump in time but the kunai still hit his shoulder, quickly, they yelled ”Ambush!”
The twenty five enemies looked alert at their surrounding, I decided to be the one to come out and make the other three stay hidden in the bush, when the time comes, they will attack, seeing that it was only a kid like me, one of the enemies said ”Tch, it's just a little boy sent to die as cannon fodder, heh!''
However, another one, that seemed to be the leader of them quickly shouted while defending himself from a katana, that tried to slash him in two ”Stop talking and focus on fighting, don't underestimate the enemy!”
I activated my Sharingan to improve my senses and strength before dashing towards the one that called me cannon fodder, he was prepared and defended himself of my sword with his own, looking into my eyes, he fell in a slight daze before composing himself, however, that was the chance I wanted, taking the opportunity, I thrusted my sword in his stomach as I said ”You're the cannon fodder here, side character, I'm the protagonist!''
”W-What?'' He said, confused of what side character and protagonist mean before dying, of course I joked, it's not like I'm the protagonist of a anime, novel or fanfic.
Some of the enemies saw that a kid about six years killing easily someone with B+ strength and the one that seems to be the leader quickly said ”Hurry up and kill this brat, I'll hold them, if this brat grow up, it will be endless trouble in the future!”
”Yes, sir!'' They answered before rushing towards me while doing hand signs, some of them yelled ”Water Release: Raging Waves!” while others yelled ”Ice Release: Ice Needles!''
