Chapter 22 - It Exploded Again! (2/2)
Xiao Wu's head felt dizzy as she passed through the distortion rift. When the scenery in front of her finally changed she found herself in a dark forest, causing Xiao Wu to frown. It was not the forest that made her frown it was the large creature in front of her.
The two female elders on stage who had viewing orbs in their hands both had Xiao Wu focused on the orbs. When they saw that she landed in front of a rank nine demonic beasts they frowned. They felt it was a pity that the girl landed in such a location. But soon their mouths dropped to the floor and a look of astonishment filled their eyes. They could not believe what they just saw! They looked around at the other elders and saw that they did seem to see what had happened wanted to strangle these old men for thinking girls were too weak to take notice too!
While the female elders were trying to control their anger, let us go back a little. Xiao Wu found herself dealing with a familiar situation. In front of her was a large patch of fur. This fur was attached to a body that was one hundred times the size as her. Xiao Wu frowned. The only thing he could do was ignore it. Yep! She was just going to ignore the large creature in front of her. Her thought was if she ignored it, it would ignore her. Xiao Wu walked around the large creature not even giving it a second glance. Right as she passed its head the creature's eyes opened and turned red as its gaze landed on Xiao Wu.
The large creature let out a ferocious roar that could shake the heavens! Well, not the heavens but it did shake a few leaves! Xiao Wu upon hearing the roar stopped in her tracks as her heart skipped a beat. She looked over at the creature, opened her mouth and…
”Will you shut up!? You just scared the crap out of me. Are you trying to give me a heart attack!?”
Xiao Wu roared out. The creature almost choked on its own intake of air. It felt anger well up within itself as it rage soared as it roared out again.
”Puny human you dare yell at me!?”
”You're the one who scared me and now you're yelling at me!?”
”Oh… Umm… sorry about that young lady but… Hey, wait puny human die!”
The creature was furious because it actually apologized to a puny human! It swung it's paw down toward Xiao Wu who saw the paw coming at her causing her face to pale. She closed her eyes and stuck out her hand only to be showered with something warm. Xiao Wu opened her eyes and looked down at the creature's body parts all over the place blood dripped from the trees and underbrush.
”It exploded again!”
Xiao Wu cried out then shook her head, she picked up a large chunk of the creatures leg and brought it with her as she continued on.
