Chapter 31 - ch.28 Night with Erza (1/2)

Vergil gave her a bright smile and most of the people who saw chuckled at Lucy's confusion even more. Vergil turned around and pointed a thumb at his back which had a white guild mark and with it facing her he said.

Vergil: How could I let anyone put a scar on my pride.

Hearing him everyone smiled and felt proud to be a part of the guild, with a weird feeling rushing into them which made them stand with their head high up.

Vergil: Ok now guys, on the occasion of me coming back home and also completing my first-decade mission LET'S PARTY!

Everyone: WOOOHOOOO

A few hours later everyone was drunk. It was night time, and some people were sleeping drunk on the floor while some managed to find a place to sleep.

Erza: V, do you have a place to stay for the night?

Vergil: No Rose, the house which I rented must be given to someone else already.

Erza: S-so if y-you want you c-can stay wi-with me for to-tonight.

Seeing her blushing and flustered, Vergil could not help but tease her

Vergil: Wow Rose, I didn't know you were so bold! It hasn't even been a day since I came back but you're already asking me to move in with you.

Listening to Vergil, Erza became even more embarrassed and her face matched the colour of her hair.

Erza: N-no no, that is not w-what I me-meant. I-I-I-I...

Vergil: Hahaha it is ok rose, I was just teasing you, but I would not mind living together with you.

Erza could not respond to Vergil anymore and knowing he was doing it deliberately she just pouted at Vergil. He thought it was quite cute.

Vergil finished bathing first. He came out with his upper body nȧkėd as he did not have anything to wear. He went to the window and opened it, then took a seat on the frame couch while looking out of the window.

When Erza came out of the bathroom, she saw a beautiful scene. She saw that her beloved Vergil was looking out the window as the moonlight reflected on him.

She blushed when she saw him shirtless but frowned when she saw him in deep thought about something. She approached him quietly and put a hand on his cheek.

Erza: V, it is ok now, you have come back home. No need to think about what happened in the dungeon and it's not like I'm not upset that you were away for the past two years.

Vergil smiled listening to her. She could already tell what he was thinking about even before he said anything.

Vergil looked into her eyes and smiled. Erza blushed and tried to look away, but before she could Vergil pulled her onto his ŀȧp shocking her.
