”Student Jinhee, this doesn't concern you in any way, and it would be best for you to concentrate on your exams for tomorrow,” The Principal voiced out.

”How are you this sure it doesn't concern me, Principal? If you are doing something as unfair as this, Principal, I am afraid I will have to contact Taeho and make him investigate on this matter further.

I can not let one of my friend's future get destroyed just merely due to some flawed or biased judgement,” Jinhee vocalised— her voice holding resolution.

Although Jinhee's words were disrespectful, she knew that she had to voice out everything straightforwardly to the Principal.

Even though the Principal himself was in a difficult position, she did not expect him to go this low, especially when it concerns a student's life.

Then again, to most, this was more of a survival show and a business than an education centre, and only the fittest survived.

”Student, if you repeat this behaviour of yours one more time, I will make sure that your parents are called, and you're taught how to act properly,” The Principal said.

As much Jinhee wanted to retort to him vocally, she knew that her behaviour wouldn't be considered pardonable, and therefore, she turned to look towards Han Taehyun.

”Taehee, do you mind calling your brother?” Jinhee questioned as a determined expression sat upon her face.

The expression on the Principal's face was way too suspicious, and since the Principal did not budge even after her involvement, she knew that someone really strong had to be behind him.

Thinking about very strong, only one person popped up in my mind— Kwon Youngmi. Youngmi could have been behind Chaewon's incident, and she could be involved with this as well.

”I'll be doing that then,” Taehyun replied as he took out his phone.

As he was about to place a call, the Principal slammed his hand on top of the table and decided to show the video to them. Things would get more messy if Han Taeho was involved.

”Fine, I'll be showing you the video. However, after I have shown it to you, you two should not show up here anymore or annoy me,” The Principal voiced out.

Jinhee did not nod her head. She might need Principal's assistance in the future. Taehyun, on the other hand, stood up and walked over to Jinhee before placing his hand on her shoulder.

Jinhee's eyebrows furrowed whulst she stared at the screen in front of her. The starting of the video seemed to appear quite familiar, and then, it clicked to Jinhee.

The video was from the day both Jinhee and Hyunbin was punished together. However, Jinhee recalled not touching anything in the teacher's office neither did Hyunbin. Then, how did they come up with evidences against him?

After the video was over, Jinhee raised her head to look towards the Principal, and confusion was present in her eyes. How was that video even a reliable evidence?

Letting out a cough, the Principal voiced out, ”He had clearly shown his intention to play a prank in this video, and the camera of the office was found broken. At this moment, he is the prime suspect.”

Hearing those words from the Principal made Jinhee give him a disappointed stare, and she then asked, ”How is it even a decent proof?”

She then continued, ”Min Hyunbin was simply joking around, and he mentioned nothing avkut stealing exam papers.”

”Student Jinhee, if you have any problems with it, contact the higher-ups. The higher-ups were the ones who took this decision,” The Principal vocalised— trying to hint that the people behind this was quite influential and he held no power.

”So basically you're telling me that because of those corrupted higher-up's orders, you're making Hyunbin withdraw from the exams. How do you even deserve to the Principal?” Jinhee voiced out— her voice clearly displaying the set of emotions she felt at this moment.

”There are natter on which I have no control over, Student Jinhee, and now that I have shown you the video, you should leave. There is no use in meddling in such matters,” The Principal vocalised.

As Jinhee had stepped into the rooftop, she immediately collapsed and sat down on it. This was all because of her. Jinhee had an inkling that Youngmi was behind it, and she was doing so because of her.

Holding her shoulder, Han Taehyun sat down beside her. If Jinhee was unable to get Hyunbin to give the exams this time around, she would drown herself in guilt.

The exams were tomorrow, and she needed to do something fast. However, Jinhee had no idea on what to do or how to proceed.

”Should I help with Han Family's power?” Taehyun questioned.

”That would be nice. However, this would make Hyunbin seem more guilty in other's eyes, and he would hate that,” Jinhee said, ”I need to think of something fast. That CCTV footage if it was exposed to the entire school then…”

That's when, an idea hit Jinhee, and she exclaimed, ”That's it! Chaewon! She would be perfect for this.”

Looking toeards Han Taehyun, Jinhee smiled and continued, ”I need your help as well! This will help prove Hyunbin's innocence, and he would be abke to attend the exams after it.”
