Chapter 224 - Requests (1/2)

As Lee Jinhee had gotten down from the car, Han Taeho followed after her, and being side by side, both of them stepped into the grand mansion. As they have verified their invitation card, they were permitted to enter.

The sight before Jinhee managed to astound her. The room where the party will be taking place was large and had beautiful light blue crystal chandeliers hanging from the roof. Shades of pink, purple, and blue coloured most of the things in the room.

Nonetheless, whilst keeping on a nonchalant expression, she stepped further gracefully. Jinhee could spot some of her fellow classmates, and it appeared that foreigners were invited to the birthday party as well.

Grand birthday parties were not what Jinhee preferred, and being in such a place, she was awkward on what to do. Nonetheless, as she was with Taeho today, she will simply be following his lead.

Looking all around her, Jinhee searched for signs of Jaehyun. However, it seemed that he had not arrived until now.

Standing at one corner with Han Taeho, Jinhee watched the scene in front of her unfold. Kwon Youngmi hasn't come down yet, and many people were staring at them.

It appeared as if some people wanted to approach Han Taeho. However, they lacked the courage to do so.

Hearing footsteps heading towards her, Jinhee looked towards that direction and realized that a Maid was standing in front of her. The Maid politely bowed towards her and Taeho.

”Miss Lee Jinhee, sorry for disturbing you, but Young Miss Youngmi has requested for your presence upstairs. She requires your help with something,” The Maid said.

Hearing those words from the Maid, her heart began to beat rapidly within her chest, and she was sure that a trap was laid out for her. However, since this was the order from President's daughter, she couldn't reject it, especially since there was a crowd present.

As only she was requested to be brought, Taeho can not accompany her, adding on to her nervousness. Taking in a deep breath, she glanced towards Taeho, trying to read his expression on what to do.

Taeho nodded.

Seeing him nod made Jinhee feel as if he had something in mind. Taehyun wouldn't let her be humiliated, and therefore, deciding to put trust in him, she followed after the Maid.

Walking through the hallway, she was in awe about the things around her. Vigilantly, Jinhee looked around, trying to keep watch for something that could be potentially dangerous for her.

As they stood in front of a large door, the Maid stopped, and extending her hand towards the door, the Maid pulled open the door. The door was coloured in a shade of light pink and had intricate designs all over it.

There was no people around them, and as the Maid walked into the room, she carefully followed after the Maid. Couches were placed at both side of the room and in center was a glass table filled with various types of dessert.
