Chapter 209 - Able to survive (2/2)

A smile formed on Taehyun's face as he sat down on his chair , and looking at Jinhee, he said, "Thanks for the treat."

Taehyun then added, "I hope you know which treat I am talking about, Jinhee-ah."

Grabbing her fork, Jinhee was close to targeting it towards Taehyun. As she contemplated on which angle would hit hardest, Jaehyun voiced out, "Jinhee, Taehee wouldn't be able to eat if you glare at her with such a murderous aura."

"I am really close to killing her, Jaehyun. Very close," Jinhee voiced out.

Winkling at Jinhee, Taehyun cheekily vocalised, "We both know how you wouldn't be able to survive if I am dead."

"Heol! What type of rubbish is that? Everyone can clearly see how I will be happy with you being dead!" Jinhee said.

"Ah! Is that so? Jinhee-ah, do you remember how you held on to me the other day and cried endlessly about—"

Before Taehyun could continue, she interrupted him by saying, "Just eat your cake quietly and don't utter nonsense! Mentioning nonsense decreases one's appetite."

"But staring at you increases my appetite, Jinhee-ah," Taehyun expressed before licking the corner of his lips.

On her way to Han Mansion, Jinhee was close to banging her head on the backseat of the car. The entire time Taehyun babbled utter nonsense, and she was close to beating him up.

"Yes, I admit Jaehyun might look handsome on stage. However, you must reject his advances. At this age, he has lots of girlfriends, and you—"

Before Taehee could continue, Jinhee exclaimed, "Stop! Stop! I get it! I understand what you're trying to say. You have been repeating the entire thing for tenth time now, and I have no interest in being Jaehyun's girlfriend, Taehee. If you mention about the one more time, I will really beat you up."

Raising his hand, Taehyun patted Jinhee's head and vocalised, "I am glad you understand this, Jinhee-ah. Remember, Jaehyun is a beast."

"Can we move on from Jaehyun now?" Jinhee asked whilst letting out a sigh of frustration.

"Sure, Jinhee-ah! I understand how taking about Jaehyun annoys you. Considering how much of a bastard that man is, it irritates me as well. Therefore, I won't bring up that man's name up again," Taehyun voiced out.

Taking in a deep breath, Jinhee said, "Taehyun, I'll be going to Lee Mansion tomorrow, and I will be staying there until the month ends. Don't worry too much. Grandfather Dowon is there, and I know he won't let anything happen to me."

Wearing a smile on his face, Taehyun said, "Sure you can go there!"

After a few seconds of silence, he added, "Only if I go along with you."
