Chapter 119 - Help you (1/2)

"Of course not, Jinhee-ah. T-that's n-not the case. Definitely I was worried about you," Jinkyung voiced out nervously.

Many could look through Jinkyung's fake acting at this moment. Nonetheless, it did not mean they had a better opinion of Jinhee.

"Certainly we all can see that. Believing some pictures instead of worrying about me- Definitely you care for me and like me. Can you leave now?"

Jinhee voiced out, "And everyone can look through your fake acting skills. So, until you perfect them, don't try to use them."

"Jinhee-ah, that wasn't my actual intention. I-"

Before Jinkyung could proceed with her lies, the teacher entered into the class, and all of the students stood up to show their respect.

Seeing Jinkyung standing there, the teacher frowned and asked, "What are you doing here, student Jinkyung?"

"I had to discuss some matter with my sister; I'll be taking my leave then," Jinkyung voiced out as she walked further away from Jinhee's table in order to exit the room.

"Finish such matters before the class starts," The teacher voiced out.

Embarrassment made Jinkyung's cheeks red as she walked out of the room, and anger was clearly shown in her eyes.

She couldn't believe that someone as incompetent as Jinhee had won over her and made Jinkyung look like the bad guy.

"I already told you to not go there and underestimate Jinhee!" The voice in her head chided.

Biting her nails as she walked on the hallway, Jinkyung ignored the words that the 'voice'.

She needs to see that Jinhee losing all of her self-esteem as soon as possible; She needed to do something fast.

The day did not go smoothly for Jinhee. Some of the teacher stared at her with disgust whilst others showed disappointment. Few even scolded her without a reason.

In Jinhee's opinion, the teachers in her school were really naive and easily believed the unconfirmed rumours.

The students looked for ways to trouble her, and although she did not get injured, few of her books were destroyed.

Even though Taehee maintained a distance with her, she shared her book with Jinhee and glared at those who created trouble for Jinhee.

Her glare was enough to imprint fear into those classmates of hers, who only knew how to bully the weak and fear the strong.

Taehee's actions warmed Jinhee's heart. It was as if in the midst of darkness, she was the one holding the light.

Currently, their last class for the day was going on, and their history teacher does not seem have a decent opinion of Jinhee after the rumour.

Jinhee sighed after recalling how hectic the day was today. If this continued regularly, it will affect her badly, and she had to think of something fast.

Immersed in the thoughts, Jinhee was driven out it when she noticed a piece of paper on her table. Curious, she picked it up and read the contents inside it.

"Do you need me to help you?"

Turning, Jinhee noticed that Taehee had a concerned expression on as her eyes stared at Jinhee. Jinhee was confused on what to do.

Taehee's offer was very much tempting, but she did not want to use Taehee when she wouldn't be able to return the favor.

Already she owes Taehee too much; She did not want to add more to that even though it was Taehee she was with the other day. Moreover, her pride was considered at this moment.
