Chapter 45 - Shy school girl (1/2)

"Do we need to go through this small space? We can just go around from that direction," Taehee spoke out as 'she' walked behind Jaehyun.

"Shortest route," Jaehyun answered.

The usual indifferent look sat on Jaehyun's face whilst Taehee held a joyful, gentle expression as always. As it was almost afternoon, the sun got brighter, and the cold breeze decreased.

Taehee's woollen sweater was tied around 'her' waist whilst her long hair pulled into a high pony tail. Sweat shone at the corner of her face. On the hand, Jaehyun had his coat hanging on his shoulder.

Both of them gave off a majestic outlook, and standing beside each other, none of them overpowered others' charms. Together, they were truly eye-catching.

"Heol¹! You're totally lazy! You're willing to take with tiny and hot route just because it's the shortest," Taehee commented. "Anyways, what are you going to do about your mother? She's more troublesome than my status."

"Remove her," Jaehyun responded.

"You're too heartless," Taehee spoke out light-heartedly. "How can you talk so emotionlessly about destroying someone who gave birth to you? Moreover, there are chances of Jinhee not accepting you."

"You're worse for acting like a pervert," Jaehyun pointed out.

"At least I don't act like a shy school girl." A smirk formed on Taehee's figure.

"You are a school girl," Jaehyun voiced out whilst turning back.

"Is that jealousy I hear?" Taehee arched up his eyebrow.

Turning back, Jaehyun was adamant on avoid her. Taehee truly had the ability to infuriate one— him included. Following behind Jaehyun, Taehee's feet mistakenly stumbled on to a rock.

Losing balance, Taehee found 'herself' falling forward, and instantly, 'she' grabbed the closest thing to 'her' in order to gain stability. The thing Taehee held was Jaehyun's waist, and 'her' actions let Jaehyun to be pinned against the wall.
