Chapter 27 - Unchained (1/2)
Naofumi traveled through a hidden brick bridge passageway in the main town of Melomarc. It reeked of corruption and secrecy. All around the corners of this bridge were a bunch of human beings who had different kinds of animal traits. Like wolf ears on top of their heads and wolf tails on the lower region of their spines. These humanoids beasts were called demi-humans which were a variation of the human race with some bestial features. Their growth can speed up through gained experience when using the Heroic System or in this case Drakos God System. They were mostly used for slave labor.
”Hurry up! And pack up the pace!” says a slave trader as he violently whips a young demi-human girl who had long white rabbit ears. ”Gaaaaaah!” Cries out the demi-human rabbit girl in pain as she drops a bag full of coal and limestones.
”Useless half-breed filth!” The slave trader whips the demi-human even harder on the back with his metal whip that had razor-sharp spikes encircling its base, ”Please stop!!!” She yelps with sorrow in her bright golden eyes.
Drakos watched the horror taking place in front of him.
The demi-humans golden eyes made Drakos remember his past. How everyone treated him like he was less than dirt. Like he didn't even exist.
”Brother! Please help her!” Screams Asura as she tugs at her brother's shirt.
”Get off me.” Drakos slapped away Asura's hands and then flashed-step behind the slave trader. Drakos was faster than the speed of light, he was even faster than Flash the superhero!
”What the? Who the fuċk are you!-” The slave trader turns around and in a blink of an eye, Drakos punched him so hard with his Infinity Gear that his body shattered like glass. Not even a drop of blood was seen only fragments and fractals of the slave traders body was seen! It was like Drakos had erased the man's body from existence. All that was left was his pitiful floating mortal soul which Drakos quickly devoured whole with his mouth in one chomp.
”You didn't have to do that!” Asura angrily smacks her brothers buff godly ċhėst.
”Hey, Drakos over here.” Naofumi opens a curtain to a shady shop. He was already used to seeing Drakos' insane godly powers. After all, he saw Drakos' reform mountains and rivers with his bȧrė hands!
”T-thank you for saving me.” Mumbles young the demi-human rabbit girl as her snowy white rabbit ears twitch and her rabbit tail wiggles.
”I didn't save you. I just needed some extra energy. Plus I need an extra slave.” Drakos glares down at her with his demonic red eyes. She almost pees herself, she should feel her skin and body tearing apart just by his evil glare piercing her soul.
