Chapter 72 - Time for some work (1/2)

Kyle: ”It has been a few months I should get going now.”

Eve: ”Hmm, By the way, you won't remember the time you spent here. So try to take it easy there.”

I nodded and suddenly I started dissolving into the air.

I opened my eyes and it took me some time to adjust to the bright light outside.

I am in a hospital of some sort. carefully looking around I saw some of it was my base.

Kyle: ”Meg, are you there?”

Meg: ”Sir, you are awake! Let me inform everyone. I am very glad you are awake from your long slumber.”

Suddenly a women came running toward me. the typical Ara-Ara Asian women known as Meg.

Kyle: ”Tell me where are they, I will go myself.”

Meg: ”Sir, you have just woken up. it is no good for you to walk.”

Kyle: ”just tell me. I am not your average person.”

Meg: ”They are in the meeting room.”

I nodded and left my bad, took a light shower and changed my robe to a simple attire.

Kyle: ”Anything big happened in my absence.”

Meg: ”So many things have happened, you should take it slow.”

Kyle: ”So how long was I asleep?”

Meg: ”You have been asleep for 5 years now.”

I saw Captain Marvel, The Bald lady from Wakanda, Rocket, Nebula and war machine James Rhodes.

Rocket: ”Yeah. We boarded that highly-suspect warship Danvers pinged.”

Nebula: ”It was an infectious garbage scow.”

Rocket: ”So thanks for the hot tip.”

Marvel: ”Well you were closer.”

Rocket: ”Yeah, And now we smell like garbage.”

Kyle: ”What else could we expect from a raccoon, then.”

I barged into the room and sneaked behind Natasha. She pulled out her gun in an instant after hearing my voice.

Kyle: ”Woah...Calm down, tigress.”

She hugged me and tightened his grip. if not for my superhuman strength she might kill em by hugging. I felt something wet on my soldiers. Crying?

Kyle: ”Calm down, Nat. I am here with you now. Stop crying.”

She stopped crying. Danvers and Rhodes were a little surprised but none of them said a thing and disconnected their calls.
