Chapter 44 - Invasion (1/2)

We all readied our weapons in front of him and like in movies he surrendered and I teleported him directly to Heli Carrier inside the dome. He was surprised but I just left him there alone. Thor was looking for Loki and came to Heli carrier in his search. SHIELD agents circled him with guns and he also took his fighting stance. I went inside the circle and

Kyle: ”Oh, Odin son. What are you doing here?”

Thor: ”Oh, Kyle. I never thought to find you here. I was looking for my brother and found out he is here”

Kyle: ”Yes, he is here. He was a nuisance. So, we have locked him up. You can go talk to him if you want.”

Thor: ”Thank you. I would like to talk to him.”

I sent an agent with him to show him the path. Loki was locked up in the same glass dome. Thor reached near him.

Thor: ”Where is the tesseract?”

Loki: ”I missed you too.”

Thor: ”Do I look to be in a gaming mood?”

Loki: ”You should thank me. With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the All-father have to muster to conjure you here to your precious Earth?”

Thor: ”I thought you died.”

Loki: ”Did you mourn?”

Thor: ”We all did. Out father…”

Loki: ”Your father. He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?”

Thor: ”We were raised together. We played together. We fought together. Do you remember none of that?”

Loki: ”I remember a shadow. Living in the shade of your greatness but I won't live in the shadow anymore. I have been granted power, an army. I will take what is mine. I, who was, and should be, king.”

We all were in the laboratory. Every one of us was searching for the tesseract. I took my time and copied mind stone too. I got Mind law. It also upgraded my every brain-related power. I got a new skill for the misty end too. I will register it later when I will have the time. We were discussing further plans.

Loki was inside talking to Thor. He used his powers to open the dome and came out of it. Thor tried to stop him but got locked instead. Loki went away from the Carrier using his illusion skills. We all were waiting for Thor but he didn't come. I went to look for him and found him in the cell instead. I helped him come out. He apologised for his naïve mistake. We further discussed what to do now. We don't know his location.

Kyle: ”Loki needs a power source. If we can put together a list…”

Tony: ”He made it personal.”

Steve: ”That's not the point.”

Kyle: ”That is the point. That's Loki's point. He wanted to hit us all, right where we live. Why?”

Steve: ”To tear us apart?”

Kyle: ”Exactly, Captain. He wanted to use Banner here to do his bidding. No offence doctor but after you changed, he wasn't able to do it.”

Hulk: ”None took. I understand it too. Thank you for helping me out.”

Natasha: ”Yeah, divide and conquer is great but he knows he has to take us out to win, right?”
