Chapter 48 - Falling Off A Horse (2/2)
After Lu Mian finished drinking, he tilted his head and looked at Jiang Lu. His gaze was indifferent as he said, “Do you have anything else? If not, make way for me. You’re blocking my sunlight! You’re in the way.”
Jiang Lu was so angry that she almost threw the milk tea at him. When she thought of the relationship between Lu Mian and Jiang Zhi, she tried her best to endure it!
She knew that Lu Mian had deliberately set her up that night, but she could not escalate the conflict with him!
Because Lu Mian was Jiang Zhi’s man, it was Jiang Lu’s intention to snatch him away!
“Actors and teachers, please take your positions! We will start shooting immediately!” The scene manager said loudly.
It was a scene where Lu Mian and Jiang Lu were riding on the same horse. Jiang Lu quietly put her hand on Lu Mian’s hand and used her fingertips to tease his palm. She said without moving her lips, “What’s so good about my sister? I can give you what she can give you. How about…”
PA!
Before Jiang Lu could finish her sentence, she felt her body lose its center of gravity and she fell to the ground!
Lu Mian sat on the horse’s back and looked at director Zheng and the scene attendants who were running towards him. He was expressionless.
“Argh!”
Jiang Lu held her ankle and realized that Lu Mian had done it on purpose. She cried out in pain in an exaggerated manner!
As long as she had problems on set, she could use Yan Zhang’s connections to kick Lu Mian out and make him go back to wherever he came from!
The team doctor helped her with her ankle. Director Zheng looked up at Lu Mian and said unhappily, “You’re so careless!”
Lu Mian said slowly, “I don’t know why, but Miss Jiang fell down on her own. I couldn’t even catch her.”
Jiang Lu: “…”
He was talking nonsense!
“Director Zheng.”
Jiang Zhi saw what had happened and could naturally guess what Jiang Lu was up to.
She looked at the horses controlled by the set manager and said to Director Zheng.
“There are a lot of scenes that require horse riding. I know that rather than using a stunt double, you want the actors to go on stage personally. I happen to know two equestrian coaches, so I can have them taught for free. I’ll set aside two days to teach the actors how to control the horses. What do you think?”
Director Zheng initially wanted to hire a coach, but the production team was short of funds, so Jiang Zhi’s suggestion was exactly what he wanted.
Director Zheng agreed immediately and said to Lu Mian, “It’s normal for rookies to make mistakes in front of the camera. Don’t feel burdened. You’ll be fine after you get more familiar with it!”
“Jiang Lu, you go back and rest first. I’ll reschedule your scenes.”
Director Zheng was perfunctory with Jiang Lu, and then continued to discuss with Jiang Zhi about the details concerning the equestrian coaches!
