Chapter 11 - Wandering Grooves (1) (2/2)
”Humph… you could say so. However, there's no such thing as luck. My best friend once said –” Ziro lifted her chin, folded her arms on her front and shut her eyes as though she was about to nag her royal servant. However, she was immediately interrupted.
”Best friend?” Creases formed on Siwaliw's forehead. Did he heard it right? Not only a friend but best friend?
'How come he had a friend when he shut himself alone all this years. Did he secretly meet someone? No. We are guarding him all the time, it's impossible for him to have a friend we haven't even met once.' The wing guy pinched his chin as he fell into conundrum. His mouth quivered several times like a chicken anus.
Ziro flinched and frowned. She was caught on her conversation and she didn't even think her past memories got already tangled.
”Ah! Er… hahaha. Nothing. Just my imaginary friend. Eh… you! You're being nosy!” When she couldn't think of any other way to breakout, she raised her voice and pointed her finger on the wingman with a domineering manner. Yeah! She would use her position as a prince!
”I would dare not! Please forgive my rudeness.” With a sudden lift of his half-closed eyes, he swiftly knelt with his right joint, cupped his hand and bowed his head. His silk white robe flew together with his fluttering silver hair in such easing shift as though he landed straight from heaven.
'Waa! So handsome!' Her heart melted when he saw how regal her servant was. How ironic. Ha. This weak… maiden heart of 'young prince' would burst and die of blood loss if Siwaliw would do this every single day. She couldn't take that! If Siwaliw knew what she was thinking, how would he react?
'Well, I think he would be disgusted. Haa. Why could I not enjoy the life of a simple girl? Of all the bodies I could end to, why this? My fate is so heartbreaking!' She turned gloomy in such thought. Indeed. Apart from her struggle to cultivate, this would also be her biggest frustration.
”Ahem! Okay, I understand. Now, let's hurry. We've been out for too long. Father must've been sickly worried.” Shaking all her grief, she took several paces ahead while her servant had yet stood.
'Eh?' When Ziro haven't got any response from her servant, she halted and took a glance at her back.
”What? Where did he go? Did he fly?” Her eyes widened when there was no one walking behind her. No tall silver haired guy. No hot servant in a white robe. She subconsciously looked at the clear sky covered by pellucid haze thinking he would be there. Haze?
