Chapter 208 - 188.9 (1/2)

Although, Chun had came with a realization, it wasn't enough to open the door.

(It means that although she had her conclusion and all but before that could be confirmed, she needed first to figure out how to unlock this knob-less door)

'How do we open it?' The black furball landed on the ground while he started to imitate a normal bird, pecking the strange door with his nonexistent beak.

'Currently, he isn't a bird. Why is he acting like one?'

The silver haired young man did not bother the dumb bird while she started to figure out the strange door.

While the black furball was pecking the doorsteps, Chun noticed a conspicuous markings at the ground, just beneath the door.

It wasn't a pattern but darkish-looking dried liquid.

Even the imitating bird Xiao Fen noticed it as well, and while he was near, he smelled an old rustic smell. Like it was…dried blood.

'Master! It's blood!'

Immediately, Chun crouched down and took out a handkerchief as she wiped the blocking dirt on the traces of dried blood.

It was really blood.

”Chi?”

”I don't know if my blood can open this but let me try.”

The observing Xuan was interested what was behind that door which was not even present at the setting plot of the generated world but he was a lot more curious to the silver haired young man's actions.

He heard her statement. And playing as a helpful system, he confirmed Chun's guess.

Her blood could open the door but Xuan didn't know the reason. The main system just helped him examined it but it was the same result, it matched.

Chun cut a small nip on her palm using her air charm and blood spurted out from her fresh wound. She then pressed it at the center of the door.

Suddenly, like a bloodsucking creature, Chun felt a warm current flowing in while her blood was being suċkėd by the strange door. The blood proliferated and all of the markings turned red as it shone, blinding the silver haired young man's sight.

Chun didn't know that while the light was blinding her vision, she was being enveloped by it. Bringing her to an unfamiliar place. Meanwhile, Xiao Fen and Xuan was left behind.

The place she was in was similar with the white space inside the silver box but still it felt unusual.

The environment was not like the usual calm and quiet space, the sly deity would welcomed her with his deceitful smile because the one who welcomed her was the other persona of Pandora.

She had the same curve smile like Titus but hers was more of an open temptation, knowing it was dangerous but one would likely volunteer themselves to fall in her trap.

”Mistress, finally, you have come,” The persona greeted her with its charming voice. The melodious tone and her lazy smile was setting off an alarm in the silver haired young man's mind.

But Chun was not patient enough to play with her charades. ”Let's not pretend anymore. Where is it?”

”What do you mean?” The persona who had the face of Pandora or it might be not truly the face of Pandora but just its facade. No matter what, Chun wasn't the type to dilly dally.

The persona curled her lips in a mischievous smirk. She loved to play with this kind of serious person, knowing that 'he' was so handsome despite she was in disguised.

”I've been waiting for you. I never expected that we would be meeting here.”

The silver haired young man frowned from her statement. The implication was obvious.

There was a momentary silence. The persona or let's call it 'Pandora' - smiled and puckered her lips in interest while observing the pretty boy.

”I'm the second one, right?”

'Second?' Chun thought.

Pandora knew the thoughts running in Chun's mind. Silence was a confirmation as well.

Pausing but not contemplating, the persona said, ”Then let's start.”

The silver haired young man braced herself. The first fragment put her through to a life and death scenario in which she should choose who to save and this one could be…

”You just need to answer three questions and I'll give you the fragment.”

'That simple?'

Chun was conflicted. She would never trust a persona of Pandora, why? Let's call it as her instincts telling her not to believe 'herself' - well, her deity-self.
