Chapter 203 - (DO NOT UNLOCK. JUST AN ERROR) (1/2)

Chun breathed in and out. She was inside the library and started to look the three objects that they needed to find but while on it, she was overwhelmed to the high-rised bookshelves that were displayed in her sight.

She forgot that libraries in elite schools were too huge and thousands of books would be here. But that wasn't the point, in the hint that was given to them. It didn't state about the objects being a book but she was still confused.

The silver haired young man went to the librarian's cubicle where the students would usually go to borrow a book. Maybe, she could find a clue there.

Turning the pages one by one. Chun skimmed through the book registry. There were written names of the students who borrowed books and she immediately turned to the latest register.

…..Name / Book(s) / Date…..

Feron - The Fool's Demise - Spring/23rd/xxxx

'Surely, there is a clue.'

However, she didn't expect that the lead could conclude some of her speculations. Feron was the name of one of the coordinators and there were three of them then it meant that the other two objects could be in-line with those other two.

”23rd of Spring, xxxx. The Fool's Demise. Feron.”

The date written was the same as the current date which meant that this was the right clue that Chun was looking for. And the 'The Fool's Demise' was obviously a book but which book?

There were many bookshelves to start with and the silver haired young man couldn't delay on finding those objects, knowing that there was a duration.

”Host, you're smart.”

Xuan might be silent the whole time but he was always there spectating.

The silver haired young man didn't turn to where the snobbish system was located while she said, ”Can you confirm that the duration time of this is by dawn?”

”Yes. The closing of the library is until dawn then you can go back after 12 hours. So for within one week, there would be no daylight but the time still continues to run.”

Chun was looking through the other notes of the librarian while she listened to Xuan's statement. The brunette youth with a bored expression smiled while he neared the cubicle. He leaned to his host as if divulging a very confidential secret.

”Host…” The body temperature of Xuan was not any different of having no body temperature at all. It only meant that he didn't exist in this world as only Chun could converse and see him.

”Hmm?”

She ignored the leaning youth while she looked for the clues of the book. There must be something here.

”I can help you with this while you owe me a favor.”

The silver haired young man doubted her sense of hearing as well as she doubted the words that came from a useless system. For the times that she spent in this world, she had never had Xuan help her. He only appeared when he needed to and he never insisted of helping her. Chun didn't mind of not having any ȧssistance from him because she could take care of herself.

”Did you drink your medicine?”

Xuan: ….

”So you say that the Royal Family knew about the Dark Charmer that was supposed to be an acquaintance of the Supreme Ruler but those three a while ago wasn't the said acquaintance?”

”Right.”

”Other than that, the Royal Family will only move when this segment will at its end?”

”Right.”

”Meaning that they have no idea about the three tresspassers?”

”Right.”

”And lastly, we cannot escape this Domain Space that Gai created until the doubles segment finishes and that would be in week's time?”

”Right.”

Xuan lazily affirmed while he and the silver haired young msn trudeged to the mystery section. She found out that the book was detective genre theme and she didn't waste time while they talked.

”Now you owe me a favor.”

Chun smirked and continued to walk. She carelessly replied, ”We can't be sure if what you had said to me is a fact. It can be just your imagination.”

'Are you trying to pit me? Wish you luck. You suddenly help me by owing you a favor. Do you think that I'm stupid?' She thought, willfully.

The silver haired young man might have an innocent shell for the most of the time that she spent in this world as she had no opportunity to trick anyone.

She did her best in doing the missions that was given to her. It was all smooth sailing. She had never encountered any scheming people because the ninth prince's siblings had took care of them after they knew of her existence. And before that, she had great friends who were the ones taking care of unpleasant people in her way, it could be sum up that she had many golden thɨġhs.

It wasn't her fault that she had been relying to them. Why would she exchange convenience for inconvenience?

Ara (nightmare beast who taught her in the Snow Palace) said that if there were people that wanted to help you, voluntarily then you shouldn't be shy to it as it was for your own good, too.

The silver haired young man was proud that she learned that. Before going back to her world, she should visit Ara for the last time.

The nightmare beast who had been grooming her fur felt a sudden chill from the night wind.
