Chapter 129 - 122 (1/2)
Chun looked at the smiling man infront of her with an inquiring gaze while the kimono girl beside her sighed as explained what happen while she was in trance.
She sensed something bad from it as she grasped her bag. At the same time, the spectating silver haired young man looked anticipatingly at the outcome.
What would she do?
Simultaneously, black red scorching fire came out from their mouth as they directed it to the kimono girl. The big flame engulfed her as the group of Pryopost was satified witht their work despite not able to eat that delicious yet difficult food.
The smokes didn't disperse yet, as they heard a chuckle coming from a nearby tree. The beasts didn't expect that there was a spectator and even their Alpha was surprised as well. But before they could deal on the fox mask young man, they heard a strumming of an instrument as it produced a soft melody.
It came from the dispersing smokes as it revealed a short haired girl, sitting down on the ground in a dogeza with a calm face while she strummed on her three-string lute. It was a traditional shamisen.
Any living beings that could hear the Death Strum would shake in fear as every note it produces invoked their most deepest and darkest fear which made them experienced death in that certain situation.
The unguarded Pryoposts were no exemptions as they fell down one by one and writhed in pain. Slowly, they transformed back to their vulnerable form that Yu In Na didn't expect to see.
She felt her cheeks burned while she involuntarily stopped her strumming and looked away from the writhing nȧkėd beings in human form on the ground.
Her pure eyes was tainted. Immediately, Chun appeared infront of her as the mischievous fox blocked the not so child-friendly view.
Yu In Na stared in shock to the standing silver haired young man who was smirking at her as she forgot her earlier embarrasment. She couldn't believe that someone who heard her Death Strum was able to resist and unaffected by its terrrifying effect as the victim would be pulled to a certain degree of madness like the Pryoposts there.
'He must be very powerful!'
”How did you do it?” The kimono girl asked in amazement but the silver haired young man was unresponsive to her as Chun looked at her in question.
As she remembered something, the mischievous fox removed her earblocks as she smiled at the amazed short haired girl but suddenly her surprise went back to uninterest while she put back her shamisen inside its bag.
She silently comforted herself as to not expect anything from this unreliable young man.
A very huge beast emerged out of his hiding spot, his form was unbelievably more bigger than the surrounding Pryoposts. Though the white color of his fut was glowing without the rays of the sun. It was a mesmerizing view like he was unlike these savage beasts. Though, his red eyes were the most piercing that Yu In Na had saw.
But the short haired girl didn't let down her guard as she held her three-string lute, ready to strum the instrument.
Unexpectedly, he didn't attack as he bowed his head while in his beast form and transformed back in his human form.
Yu In Na who felt goosebumps from witnessing those nȧkėd men. She immediately covered her eyes, not wanting to see another nȧkėd man, adding up to her list. Yes, list of faces that would turn into her nightmare.
The innocent kimono girl was in distress as she used her left hand to cover her eyes while the other hand was holding her shamisen. The unapproachable short haired girl was like a flower wilted from its roots.
Her grandfather always stated that if she saw a man's nȧkėd body then she should take responsibility of it but...
So she should to take responsibility for all the nȧkėd men?!
Realizing that, her fragile mind short-circuited as her heart was frozen. She had no money to take care all of them! How could she an introverted ran away girl who was living alone with her granfather but now minus the grandfather - she was currently on her own as she wanted to pursue her dream as she joined the Circus, would able to take responsibility?
Her thoughts were running as truly overthinking was something that could poison a person's simple mind which made a situation much more complicated when it was in fact just simple.
Yu In Na's overthinking stopped as she heard a man's voice.
”Hello. I'm Nala, the Alpha of the Sajid Tribe.”
The gently voice came from the tender-looking man as he smiled with innocence to the peeking short haired young woman in between her fingers.
