Chapter 78 - 73 (2/2)

”May I sit here?” Her shy voice could charm a man if not for the person that she was targeting with was originally a boy. The barrel that the young missus pertaining to was beside the silver haired young man. As Chun had no squibbles about it even though she could see clearly that there were available barrels around even the young men who saw the young missus approached Chun for just an available space, wanted to present their barrels as well to the lady.

Chun was playing along to the young missus' act as she was bored in her seat, the journey would need another day in order for them to reach their destination so this kind of fun would be entertaining for the meantime.

The sudden move of the ship made the young missus stumbled as Chun caught her in her arms. A minty fragrance ȧssaulted her nose as she felt that she was now addicted to it. The face of Chi turned beet red as her personal maid who was at her side, help her up as she regained her balance. She thanked the silver haired young man with her sweet smile as she sat beside Chun while still in a daydream.

”Tsk. Tsk. Teacher should be really an experience chick-magnet. He didn't do anything but he gained another beautiful lady,” Kai Sun shook his head as he whispered these words to himself. The charm of the silver haired young man was truly unrivalled. The gossip king really wanted the butler to be here as to stop the flirting of their handler.

While the said butler was in the shadows, sending his most deadly glare that he could master to the two while a dark deep whirlpool in his eyes was brewing inside. He must teach his young master a lesson about what to do and what not to do, who to flirt and who not to flirt with.

The other students had no time to be nosy to their teacher's matter as they were occupied by their own businesses.

”Howdy'all? Anything's fine? Doing well?” He greeted. The captain saw that there were no expressions of discomfort from the passengers as he sighed in relief. His gaze momentarily stopped at Chun's party as he immediately diverted it.

He cleared his throat as he was about to announce something bad. ”I'll be announcing a good news and a bad news. Which do you want to hear first?”

The passengers who heard it frowned while Chi who was pretending to be calm responded, ”Captain Fupa, it may good if you say first the good news.”

Captain Fupa turned his gaze to the person who spoke up. He remembered that this was the only daughter of the governor and she was spoiled to the core.

'Why is she not acting up?'

Curious to it, his stare fell to silver haired young man beside the young missus.

'Oh, that's why.'

Nodding to himself, he started with mirth on his eyes as he looked at Chi, ”Good news is we landed to a small island. Bad news is we will be spending one day and our journey to the Vanetted Island City will be extended for two days.”

The crowds bursted in angry complaints as they heard the news.

Overcoming the unexpected severe storm was difficult to the captain and his crewmates as unfortunately, they needed to repair the ship because it wouldn't be good to sail when the ship was not in a good condition as the big waves of the oceans would be harsh if they didn't repair the damages first.

Chun and the students were silent as they awaited for Captain Fupa to let them out as they would seek out some supplies while they stayed in the small island for one day. They only packed a small amount of food, only for a three-day journey that turned out to be five days. The governor would be receiving them the moment they arrived at the island so they only took a small amount of sustenance for their sail.
