Chapter 72 - 67 (1/2)

Silhouettes of the trees were casted down from the bright full moon in the dark sky as shadows kept moving through the forest. The butler was carrying his young master in his arms as they traversed through the forest. It was inevitable to let the silver haired young man walked on her own as she had no cultivation and she couldn't just use her deity powers.

The thick foggy forest was far from the Yu household as they discovered that Yu Lee In was hiding in a cabin at that place. The shadow guards had already surrounded the place without knowledge of the target while Chun and the butler were coming.

”Young lord, lately you're getting heavy.” The comment of the butler made the silver haired young man irritated, even though she was dressed in a boy's clothing, she had still some lady insecurities.

”Put me down, Art,” Chun instantly replied with a grumble on her voice.

Coincidentally, they arrived outside of the alighted cabin as a shadow guard showed up and stated that Yu Lee In was inside. The silver haired young man didn't do anything extra as she strode in with her lazy demeanor.

The door opened and the furious-looking person was about to yell at the mastermind behind his capture when he was stunned to see a beautiful young man who walked in. The youth was around 17 years with an odd hair color and a mixed colored eyes, she exuded a trace of laziness as she smiled at the former head patriarch.

”You must be Yu Lee In?” Chun asked while observing the kneeling man with a tigth rope tied on both of his hands by his back.

”Yes! And what do you want?” His voice had a hint of impatience as he looked at the other. He wasn't impressed by the scheme of this young man as he was caught unguarded.

Previously, he just came from his rented inn when a messenger handed him a letter saying that the boss that wanted to buy the enchantment was interested on meeting face-to-face. He was reluctant to sell this enchantment as it was the family heirloom that he took from the Yu household deeming it to be having an unmatched power within it. When he got his hands on it while he escaped, he tried every means to trigger it but it was no use. It didn't budge.

The enchantment looked like a crystal-like rock with red highlights on its body when it would be shone under the light. At first when he successfully took it as he ran away from the Yu household, he felt overjoyed as he could finally gain his own power and come back to the household in order to retrieve his position as the head but he didn't expect that the legendary object was just a useless piece of rock. While examining, it weighted 10 kilograms and it was a precious stone due its unique qualities. Because of his sudden escaped and having not enough money to sustain him, he decided to sell it to a gem collector that he knew.

Unfortunately, he did not think that the silver haired young man setted a trap for him. He had been in hiding for three years and he unconsciously let down his guard for money.

The silver haired young man had no interest on talking longer with Yu Lee In as took the rock object on the table while playing it on her hands. ”So this was the object that you stole from your family? What's the use of this?”

Chun examined closely the lame rock. She didn't feel anything from it as she threw it carelessly to Art while the butler caught it easily. If one would see this scene, the silver haired young man acted like a hooligan with her fellow subordinates surrounding the man.

Yu Lee In glared at the unknown youth as he didn't responded. Everyone had deemed him to be useless after he was poisoned affecting his own judgement and demeanor when he was still the head patriarch. He believed that he was schemed by his cousin Yu Chuyun, that's why he had no goal other than taking his revenge when he had a chance to come back to the estate.

Reading through his thoughts, the silver haired young man lazily stated, ”Yu Chuyun is dead.”

A hint of surprised resurfaced on Yu Lee In as he was not inform by this great news. Then…?

”No, you don't have any possibility of claiming the position.” That was the truth as the majestic Yu Luo was currently the head patriarch.
