Chapter 133 - The Room (1/2)
The one inside the room was none other but Mellie, he was holding a strange sphere of magic in his hand. However, his eyes seemed strange, a bit different from his usual self.
”What are you doing?”
Henry asked while raising a brow. He didn't know much about little demons like Mellie, but he did know about rules in games. And the demon before him was breaking the rules.
”Nothing,” Mellie threw the sphere towards Henry, ”just taking care of some business.”
”What do you mean?”
”Don't worry about it,” Mellie said as he turned around, ”eat that and save the others, or you can just go out…”
Mellie laughed as he moved towards a door that appeared from nothing.
Henry didn't dare to slack off, and he took the sphere into his mouth. It melted as if it was water. The next moment, he felt a strange sensation growing from his heart to every single vein in his body. It was extraordinary, as if it was power.
He smirked and looked at the door that was behind him. However, he didn't cross, he knew that it would be a bad choice.
Then he closed his eyes, and suddenly he felt it, the others' aura. It was strange, and he didn't know what made him do that, but he knew it was the right thing to do.
He clasped his fingers and disappeared.

Three days later…
”I want chocolate cake,” Beth requested.
”Okay,” Henry smiled and nodded.
”I want a fruit tart,” Beth requested.
”Okay,” Henry smiled and clasped his fingers.
Suddenly, a waiter came with a big tray of desserts in his hands.
”I want ice cream,” Beth requested.
”Okay,” Henry looked at the waiter, and the young man went back to the kitchen and brought a big cup of ice cream. It looked delicious.
”I want…”
”You can't eat all that,” John said with a frown in his head, ”that is too much, you are already growing fat, much more and…”
He didn't end the phrase when he was kicked in the leg.
”You are a crazy monster!” John kneeled to alleviate his pain.
”I am a beautiful crazy monster,” Beth said and looked at Henry with a wink. He smiled at her and nodded at her remark.
Beth and John continued their banter for a while, however, something was different on them.
”Why don't they remember?” Henry asked Billie, they were all eating in a restaurant near the school, and it seemed as if it were like any other day in their lives. As if nothing that happened a few days ago had stayed in their memories.
Beth and John didn't remember, even Mateo had his memories erased.
”I don't know how it works,” Billie said while taking a sip on his cup of coffee, ”I had taken him many times with me to some other missions, and each and every time he just loses his memories.”
Henry looked at Beth with a bit of relief. He knew that if she were to know what he was doing, her competitiveness will make her difficult to control.
She will strive to win, to help him win, and also in the eye of the other competitors. Though, he will be there to protect her any time. After all, he had gotten a new skill.
”What will you do?”
Billie asked as he watched the two idiots already fighting on the floor for a piece of chocolate. ”Will you tell her?”
