Chapter 76 - Three Events (1/2)

The return to the Academy could only be described as strange and gloomy. If the so hard-earned vacation and holidays were supposed to bring peace and calm to the bright youthful minds of the students, the supposed tranquility was greatly disturbed by three events.

First, 'the Launching of the MINI', of course, the sell-out of MINI devices for the common population was a huge hit. The sales soared to new heights and new records were broken every day, new buyers, new business partners, and new invites to other countries pourded in the company as if water. However, even if it had to be a happy event, the poor Assistant/CEO Vin was about to explode from overwork.

Still, the company was prepared, Anne was prepared, after all, she had one purpose from the moment she created the company, to dominate the markets and establish a shop on every corner of the the world. Then her mission to conquer the world will bow to her, though she may had deviated a little.

Then again, the main face of the company was her, the most outstanding Princess of Lith. Anne du Lith was the acknowledged name of the little genius that brought incredible ideas out of common sense and pushed them to the world. Who else but her can start a revolution only with one thought on her mind to make the world change into a pink and fluffy one? Who else has the guts?

She enjoyed it greatly, though, to be the famous Princess to bring the world to a more interesting one. Maybe it was good, maybe it could be bad, terribly bad, but that will depend on how the people use her ingenious ideas from now on. She will not regret it either wise. However… what she will do regret was not give the public image job thing to someone like the Wizard Druon. It was starting to become a hassle.

The many fans' letters she received daily went from sweet words, chocolates, flowers, some toys and dolls with her figure in it, or even Gandalf to exaggerated proposals of marriage with diamond rings and the whole show of some envoy from another country to ask for her hand. They even managed to bring artists and singers to court her. She enjoyed them at first, then she rejected them without mercy after eating their food, of course.

However, even if she was the Princess of Lith, the only one, there were some Kingdoms that had the fortune to be more powerful than Lith, and they all wanted her. The proposals from those countries were the hardest to reject, especially the ones coming from a certain handsome prince.

It seemed that when he knew about Rose's marriage proposal from the Crown Prince of Lith, and then the official announcement of her being the next Crown Princess, only inspired that Handsome Prince into turning his eyes at some other prey. A red-haired princess that had announced to the world that her fiancée will not come that year to the Academy.

”Should I kill him?” Callum entered through the window of the Princess's tower. She decided to spend the rest of her holidays with her family in Lith before her departure to the Academy. However, it was mostly because she was depressed and in a bad mood. ”I can make it seem as if it was an accident, thieves on the road, poison in the food, or an arrow through his heart. It will be a clean job, Master. Should I go?”

”Yes,” Anne said. However, before Callum could go out to do his job, someone stopped the two cruel and crazy beings.

”Stop it, Callum,” the Queen was looking at the room full of flowers, toys, and letters that were separated into three small mountains. The softcore of fans, the hardcore fans, and the ones that already began a cult. ”Anne we should send an official rejection letter… sigh.”

Anne pouted and looked at the man on the side also looking down with a disappointing look. If he were a bit less expressionless, then he might even pout too. ”Alright…”

Second. The next event that sent the beautiful holidays into a terrible path, was what the book of the Queen's Evil Deeds like to call 'The Fighting'.

What can be worse than seeing the fight between a couple? The main characters couple at that. Anne wanted to spend more days with her dear bride, but something stopped from that and Henry had to leave. She asked for him to stay with her, to not go, but he didn't turn around and went out of the door.

That day, the Princess, they all were fond of, changed. Her thoughts that were as clear as water and those eyes that could transmit happiness and a lot of laughs now were empty and sad. She looked vacant, the same as those years when a simple allergy could take her from the path of joy.

”I don't feel happy,” she said the day the Academy's year started. ”I will tell you a story, my dear friends, a sad love story with an unbelievable development. You should stay there and hear it all to understand why I am not feeling happy.”

The school's students, from the first years to the last ones listened carefully as the Princess narrated the story of a loving couple. A Princess and a Duke's son. They were childhood friends with lots of adventures every day. She laughed almost every day she saw his face, those emeralds eyes, and that gentle smile. He will kiss the back of her hand when greeting her and calling her 'my bride' in the sweetest way. However, one day, when fighting with his father, he knew that something was not right.
