Chapter 46 - Red card (1/2)
”What are we going to do, Miss Charlotte?” a cute little girl was serving tea to a beautiful girl with bright golden hair on the small tea table.
She was exquisite. Not only the bright green eyes as emeralds were shining with a lovely glint, but her cute dimples had the power to entice any daring to approach her.
The way she left the cup with a raising pinky was elegant and stylish.
”Mmm… according to the legends… Princess Anne went to the training camps at the age of six, she went to teach the young knights what courage meant,” the little girl of seven years old recounted. She was reading a strange book with the cover of a silhouette of a little girl with a fluffy dress and a fluffy dog by her side.
”Then… Miss Charlotte, would you want to go?”
”Mm… yes,” the little girl said while standing up quickly, ”though, I am not sure if I want to play with the knights… at least not all of them.”
”What are you saying, Miss Charlotte?”
”Isn't Ian going to train there at this time?”
”Young Master Ian?” Gina leaned her head, she knew that the little daughter of Minister Mills, Charlotte Mills was a follower of Princess Anne. Well, who will not be? She was a living legend.
However, her parents were certainly afraid. Not just hers but everyone's parents would be afraid if someday the amazing 'Little Princess' shop in the town started selling the book of that same princess. It came as a trend to give the book to the daughters of the officials or when they started to read. However, the message the fathers told their cute little daughters was:
'Darling, this is a guide of what you should never do, okay?'
or,
'Only legends can do the things written here, darling, please don't imitate.'
Or simply,
'Never in the world dare to do anything on this book, now start reading, sweetheart.'
However, some parents tried to deny the existence of the book, to keep their dear daughter from the mysterious and hypnotic charm of a little princess. Now, that will never work for the smart Charlotte. Poor Duke of Mills.
”Then… shall we go?”
Charlotte stood up from the little chair ready for another adventure following the principles of her idol. However, the one that kept interrupting her journey every time appeared.
”My princess!”
”Oh no,” Charlotte tried to run back, but it was useless, ”daddy, stop it.”
