Chapter 27 - The Case of the Stolen GIft (Part 3) The True Masters (1/2)

*Three hours to the main event*

Gandalf: She looks like a marshmallow.

Shadow: She looks like a white cloud.

Gandalf: I want a marshmallow.

Shadow: Let's go to the kitchen.

Gandalf: We are not allowed in there.

Shadow: Moira will try to sneak in and push her cake inside.

Gandalf: …

Shadow: Shall we?

Gandalf: After you.

A black elegant cat with bright red eyes was seen resting in the back of a white beautiful dog with amazing blue eyes. The path they followed was known as the road to the stomach joy, the lead they followed was known as the happiness fragrance, and the eyes that followed them were known as the loyal subjects that bowed to the true Masters of the house.

The two fluffy and beautiful creations of the world were well-known as the only creatures in the castle that can manage the most strange and crazy pair of little girls. Only their tempting fur and their hypnotizing eyes could calm the absurd spree of their Masters, though, it was never in exchange for nothing.

The King and the Queen knew what they need to give in order to receive the cooperation of a certain white dog and, of course, of a certain black cat.

The list included,

1. A wide garden to run,

2. A fluffy bed to rest under the sun,

3. Food. Dog food prepared by masters,

5. Toys, a supply of toys enough to last for a lifetime,

6. A smile and the ċȧrėssing hand of the beautiful Queen,

7. The sweet and gentle smile of the Crown Prince (applies only to Shadow).

'The Cake is in the kitchen,' Moira signaled Calum.

The pair of red-eyed now were moving stealthily around the bushes of the garden. Their clothes were formal, though, black as always. However, that didn't diminish to any degree their beauty, even more, their pale faces with their delicate features were more outstanding than ever.

”Mm,” Callum nodded at the sweet little girl. Some hours ago he had helped her decorate the cake as a present for the Queen. It was his task after she managed to bake it. The decoration couldn't be described with word other than fabulous.

It came as a surprise how the terrifying man could create such amazing decorations, the way he used the cream sleeve was as if he had done it many times before. Even the pastry chefs were stupefied at the talent of the tall man, which made him less terrifying than before.

'We did a perfect job this time,' Moria smiled as she remembered the small cake with a filling of chocolate cream and pink flower decorations.

”Yes, she will be delighted,” Calum patted the lovely hair of the red-eyed girl. ”Let's go.”

Then they proceeded with the next mission. They jumped again the wall, though they didn't need to. However, time was pressing for they had many orders to accomplish that night after they managed to escort Victor inside the castle.

However, their path will never be peaceful, there will be many obstacles in their way that they had to evade in order to move forward. The many walls around the castle were such a hassle for their speed.

”Ahhh!”

The scream of a maid woke up the soldiers on the sides of the Castle wall.

”It was Moira and Master Callum!”

The same maid screamed again to stop the soldiers from coming.

”Ahh!”
