The hallway was dark with a small yellow bulb in the very corner and the tiles were a checkerboard pattern of black and white with a trace of red color being dragged on the floor. If one looked too closely, one could see that it was blood; the fresh, bright red blood. The whole place sent a chill down the spine and reminded people of something out of one's nightmares.
Tian Li (the ex-Mayor's daughter) was already declared dead considering her current state of mind; but as for Tian Meng, he was the only chip to get a clue regarding General Yue Zhao's death.
Recalling the pocket knife, Yue Xiang's footsteps speeded up. There was an icy aura all around him like a demon from hell. ”When did he regain consciousness?”
Bai Zhen who was walking behind him firmly replied: ”Half an hour ago.”
”Any sign of improvement?”
”His head was hit too hard with much force, so we can't be sure whether his memory is intact.”
Yue Xiang's face darkened instantly and his eyes turned dull. ”Sh*t!”
Lin Xu turned his head and looked at Yue Xiang before answering in a serious tone, ”What is the use saying sh*t, Xiang? You should have controlled your strength a bit.”
”No” Yue Xiang denied.
Lin Xu was confused: ”…en.”
Grasping the doorknob, Yue Xiang said: ”Little Wan did this to him.”
Lin Xun's face turned pale. A gust of cold wind blowing against his back and he shuddered: ”Holycow! Did she drink Lion's blood?? I thought she was a simple bunny.”
Xiao Hua emitted a wild and unyielding air. He asked in a raspy voice: ”Did she get hurt?”
Lin Xu's jaw dropped: ”Hurt! She hit a man close to death!!”
The great devil was looking at the cunning wolf with flames in his eyes: ”Her palm got a big scratch of 3mm size and skin trauma. She had trouble clenching her fist for days.”
”Fist! Someone was close to having his skull broken.” Lin Xu began to wonder whether these two have a slight bit of humanity left between them.
A gloating smile crept onto Xiao Hua's face: ”After this interrogation let me have this guy.”
”Don't kill him. Dad needs him to vent off his fury. He will have the first round,” Yue Xiang smiled and said casually, which madeLin Xu break into a cold sweat thinking about the poor soul's upcoming future under this trio.
Xiao Hua's eyes lit up slightly, a destructive intention hidden within: ”Deal!” They exchanged looks and saw the determination to kill that guy under various torture.
Lin Xu was speechless, he cursed under his breath: ”Is this an important conversation right now?”
Yue Xiang and Xiao Hua looked like he was an idiot and said simultaneously: ”Of course Dummy, She got hurt... It's important.”
”Forget it. It's a waste of breath talking with you morons.” Lin Xu's lips twitched before sighing. It was useless trying to talk sense when it had Young Miss Yue in it.
----Inside the Interrogation Room---
”If I tell you everything I know, won't you kill me immediately?” Grasping his life with the last bit of energy, Tian Meng tried to get a deal from the Devil while sitting in the interrogation chair.
Three men, along with Bai Zhen, surrounded Tian Meng with the darkness that seeped out from the depths of the body and made one's blood freeze.
Lin Xu made a 'Tsk!' and stated with a smirk: ”Let me give you a word of advice before things get out of hand and while you still have a chance. I suggest you stop doing such meaningless things and tell us what we need to know. After all, you can not afford the consequences of offending our two highness and making them mad. Believe me, they're v.e.r.y hungry.”
Tian Meng sneered: ”You think I trust you? Even if you don't kill me, you will probably imprison me and torture me to your heart's content. There's no way you will set me free. Every second that I am still alive right now, is because you need me.”
