You could have turned the table over by twisting the story. Instead of portraying yourself as the victim, to gain sympathy you got things out of control and made Xiao Family' despise you.”

Jing Shuping and Xiao Shen were tongue-tied.

Remaining calm and composed, Old Tang turned around and took a few steps towards the window: ”Whatever happened, happened. Leave Jing Zhe's affair to me. As for that Yue girl, I will talk with HIM.”

Having understood who that 'HIM' was, Xiao Shen bowed her head: ”Thank you, Mother. It's quite late, You must be very tired. Why not go and rest?”

Old Tang nodded her head and walked to the second floor, but halfway, she stopped and said: ”One more thing. Find a doctor to do a medical test for Zhe tomorrow. I need to know the truth.”

Jing Shuping kicked the coffee table over in exasperation before leaving the room.
