Yue Yeager 's gaze was warm yet cool and it made others somewhat confused as to whether he was mad or happy.
Hugging the little guy in his embrace, Yue Yeager walked before Li Zhi with a darkened expression. He had heard every single word that Li Zhi said and now his body was emitting killing intent.
Yue Yeager's hard voice censured: ”Master Li's memory seems to be faulty. You are able to forget my face that easily? But don't worry, hereafter you won't.”
A tangled expression appeared on Li Zhi's face. He shivered: ”Wh---t?”
Yue Yeager, like a leader standing before those guests, spoke with a razor edged voice, every word echoing in the hall like a roar. ”I would like to hereby inform everyone present that there is no relationship between the Yue and the Li families, nor will there be one established in the future either. As for those rumors, Master Li definitely needs to give me an explanation.” He gave a severe stare at Li Zhi which sent a sudden shiver up the spin of the latter.
Li Zhi tried to persuade Yue Yeager: ”Master Yue, we can talk about this privately. You need to help my son! The Young Master Yue and your daughter are framing my son as a murderer with forged evidence.”
Li Rong joined in and appealed to Yue Yeager anxiously, ”Master Yue, they are scheming against me.”
”Enough!” Yue Yeager growled. He glared at Li Rong coldly and demanded, ”So what if this is all a scheme? Don't you dare forget who started the scheming and plotting in the first place!”
