Xiao Shen turned her attention around and spoke angrily at Wei Xing: ”The fault of the matter starts from your son. Since he had destroyed Xiao Ran's innocence, then he must definitely take responsibility for her.”

Elder Xiao felt an unspoken amount of hate and anger lit a fire in his heart: ”My child” he muttered.

Xiao Shen tactfully made it so that Xiao Ran would be marrying Wei Cheng in an act that made it seem like she was the Mistress of the Xiao family.

Wei Xing's hope lifted up, he too knelt before Elder Xiao and reassured: ”My Wei family is the one at fault. No matter what happens in the future, we will support the Xiao family's decision.”

Through all the commotion, the delicate voice of Yue Wan, who had always been hiding behind the back of Yue Xiang, suddenly said, ”You are saying that the person inside is Princess Xiao? But, is she really inside? It is just as possible that it might be someone else.”

When those words were said, everyone was stunned for a period of a moment. That was not wrong.

Was the person inside really Princess Xiao? From the beginning till now, no one had gone in to take a look at the woman inside.

Based on the accusations of Xiao Shen, the guests had all believed that it was Princess Xiao.

Yue Wan chuckled lightly and said: ”I am only curious, Miss Jing. No need to take it so personally. Before clarifying anything or even going in, you believed that the woman inside is Princess Xiao. May I know why you so strongly believe that, Miss Jing?”

Jing Zhe's lips parted and had no words to defend herself.

With a quizzical smile, Yue Wan looked at Wei Xing and Xiao Shen and said breezily: ”Did you see her going inside or…?” She dragged her sentence while covering her mouth in surprise.

Elder Xiao's upset expression relaxed. There was some truth in Little Yue Girl's words. Turning to Xiao Shen he fumed, ”Enough!”

The elder stared at Xiao Shen and Jing Zhe with glowering eyes and reprimanded in a rigid voice: ”You better clean your mouth! From the beginning until now, I have heard nothing but garbage from you two.”

Xiao Shen's face became pale. She was so angry that she could tear that mouth off of Yue Wan's face for damaging her daughter's reputation in front of Uncle Xiao like that.
