A love arrow struck at Chen Ai's heart. She clutched her ċhėst as four words erupted from her mouth: ”I am in love!!”

Tai Sun's jaw dropped and his brows wrinkled. Soon some black lines formed around his head.

He looked at Little Bao as he was his life long enemy.

Little Bao, in his mommy's embrace, turned his head away from Tai Su's look of anger. 'Don't give me that look! I love mommy only.'

While Chen Ai was trying hard to calm her bubbling emotions, she couldn't help but ask Yue Wan: ”Can I hug him. Just once? Can I? Pretty Please?” She pleaded.

Tai Sun felt a surge of emotions in his heart, he had an aura that was ready to kill anyone that came near.

Yue Wan could sense Tai Sun's jealousy towards her son, so she changed the topic: ”First tell me, did you bring the thing I asked for.”

”AH!” Slapping her forehead, Chen Ai took a rectangular box from her bag and gave it to Yue Wan. Then in a profound voice, she probed: ”Why you need this?”

”You will know when the time comes.” Placing the box into her little purse, Yue Wan smirked.

Tai Sun suddenly recalled Yue Wan's sudden phone call to him. ”Mr.Tai, I want you to escort Little Spring to Grandfather Xiao's party. This way, I can rest ȧssured, knowing that she is safe.”

Even though Yue Wan promised him that she would never let Chen Ai get hurt, he was still a little edgy inside.

With her face flushed red, Chen Ai gave a sneaky glance at Little Bao and shuffling her feet in embarrassment.

Giving a stony stare to Little Bao, Tai Sun grabbed Chen Ai's collar and in a firm tone ordered: ”Since our work here is done, let's go back.”

”Wha!! I haven't hugged my love!!” Chen Ai's eyes teared up and gave a disgruntled stare at Tai Sun. ”Why are you buŧŧing in my harem?”

Not bothering with her whining, Tai Sun dragged her away to their table while not forgetting to give a challenging glare at Little Bao: ”I won't let you have her.”

Little Bao felt sweat dripping down his face: 'What did I do!!!'

The banquet hall was getting crowded as more and more guests arrived. Even the Elder Yue came too.

”Ahem...Ahem,” In a low, rough voice Mr. Hong(Elder Xiao's secretary) cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.

Mr. Hong walked up on stage and towards the podium at the center. ”Ladies and Gentleman, Can I have your attention please.”

Since the party is going to begin, Yue Xiang moved to his sister's side.

On the other hand, Wei Wan returned silently to her father's side with puffed, red eyes.

As for the Li Rong, he came after her with a frown on his face, but soon, he was harshly reprimanded by his father in a muffled voice at the corner.
