Chapter 114 - Follow Me Inside, OnlyYou (2/2)

”Are you the one who wanted to see the Boss?” A charming voice was heard.

From inside the broken door, came a young woman. She was not considered beautiful but possessed a kind of seductive charm that made the passersby behind Yue Wan want to steal a glance at her.

That woman leisurely swayed her hɨps in her red dress as she walked over and spoke with a smile, ”Follow me inside. Only you.”

The two guards wanted to follow but were held back by the little boy. With a cheeky smile, he said, ”Pretty sisters, don't worry. Your Young Miss will return safely.”

”Young Miss. ...” They were somewhat worried. If Yue Wan encountered any danger, the Prince will burn them alive.

With a reassuring smile, Yue Wan said: ”You two remain back.”

After that, Yue Wan was escorted in by the Woman, while the rest were left outside.

One of the guards hidden in the shadow sent a message to Yue Xiang. Since they had killed people before, they had an intuition for danger. By the way, that female had looked at them while saying, 'only you,' they knew that their positions had been compromised.

”Why would Young Miss come here?”

The female guard: ”I don't know, but Young Miss knows what she is doing. We better just wait until she comes out.”

------------------------

The red-dressed woman brought Yue Wan through a hallway and turned to the side to open a hidden door. Upon opening the door, she indicated to a passageway underground which was too dark to see what was inside. ...

Coming into the light, Yue Wan admired the well-furnished place. Each and everything inside the room was so expensive that not even Yue knew how much they cost.

'No wonder, they are so rich and powerful.' She thought.

”Young lady, you can wait here. I will call the boss.” With a gentle smile, the woman in red left Yue Wan in a big underground well renovated into an extremely beautiful office.

Yue Wan examined the room once her hostess had left. On the walls, there were photographs of various painting which were not from this era.

On her left, there was a shelf lined with numerous numbers of untouched files and some stacks of envelopes were laid unopened on the table before her. The oddest thing about the letters was that none of them were labeled with any sort of address.

'Thud. ...Thud. ...'

There were sounds of footsteps outside in the hall, followed by the opening of the door. The woman in red walked in and respectfully bent over slightly before guiding the person behind.
