Once his Hua left the villa, Xiao Ran appeared at her Grandfather's door and found him sitting on the bed, staring ahead. ”Grandfather. Are you alright?”

Staring at the chibi Xian Hua and Xiao Ran's picture with half-lidded eyes, he muttered, ”This was your father's favorite pic.”

Xiao Ran strolled in and sat next to him, ”Yes, I remember this was taken when we first entered school.”

In the frame, they both were posing before their kindergarten on their first day of school.

She wore a green dress with a red hair clip, while her brother was dressed in a black hooded jumper. She had an adorable smile and he had a smirk.

Grandfather Xiao placed the frame back to its place and sighed. ”The Xiao cooperation is haunted by treacherous people, so taking one wrong step would cause us to lose everything.”

”But, Young Miss Wan is the right choice for him.”

”Don't you start it too.”

Xiao Ran pursed her lips into a thin line and walked out, but not before she stated: ”Grandfather, give her a chance to prove what is really going on before you come to a conclusion.”

The room became quiet as Grandfather Xiao touched his bear and muttered, ”I understand his feelings for Miss Yue from the way he talks about her, yet why did he mention daughters instead of children? Did he misspeak?”

'Ouch Ouch...That hurt so much. Yo, Lunatic Doctor watch where you are touching! Ah! Ah! Don't touch there.....Nooo!'

The Doctor examined him nose-to-tail and listened to Little Bao's heart and lungs.

But just then, that Lunatic Doctor thrust a needle into his poor little bum and it was only taken out after a very long hour (ok, MAYBE a couple of seconds)...but still… it was traumatizing...

All of a sudden there was dead silence for a couple of minutes...

The loud, piercing shriek of Little Bao could be heard echoing throughout the room, ”Meoww.. Ao.”

Tears streamed down Little Bao's face as he could no longer contain himself.

'Mommy!!! I want my MOMMY!!!!!'
